Up for auction is a beautiful California spec Porsche 2.7L 911/84 engine that came out of a 1976 Porsche 911 S Targa. This engine was removed only for a 3.6 upgrade and is said to have always been a reliable performer. Mileage is believed to be around 60k, but this is unverifiable as it was not the original engine to the car. This engine has been outfitted with SSI heat exchangers for better performance and has had a Carrera timing chain tensioner update for peace of mind. The air box has been upgraded with a pop-off valve kit and K+N filter. The engine is free of any leaks and spins freely by hand when building up to individual cylinder TDC's. A leak down check will be performed and added to the auction accordingly. Please note the slight damage on the drivers side SSI heater box tin that occurred when being transported.
