Up for auction is this classic 1963 Porsche 356B coupe offered at NO RESERVE. Having been cared for by its prior owner for many years, this stunning 356 was traded in for a new car at Stevinson Porsche in Littleton, CO a few years ago. This 356 would eventually end up at a Porsche specialty shop in New York from where the current owner had purchased it. Showing approximately 68k miles on the odometer, this timeless sports car is now being offered for auction in excellent driver’s-grade condition by a seller on Long Island, NY.
Having undergone a full respray in red some years ago, this 356 boasts lustrous paint in fantastic shape that shows excellent. All panel gaps appear to be uniform and the only flaw indicated on the exterior is some slight road-going wear. This 356 rides on original chrome wheels which are in great shape and come wrapped in Classic All Season Radial tires. Showing all the signs indicative of a well preserved car, this 356 is said to be rust free, structurally sound and fully sorted for the next owner.
The period-correct black leatherette interior of this 356 is stated to be in original condition, displaying only age-appropriate wear. Both front seats show to be fully intact and are said to be comfortable for driving. A brand-new clock has recently been installed and all other gauges, electrical components and accessories are reported to be fully functional. Offered in a solid, highly original state, this 356B is a true time capsule.
This 356B carries a horizontally opposed 1600cc 4-cylinder engine from a Speedster that has been mated to the original 4-speed manual transmission. This vehicle comes with recent service records and is reported to be in excellent running condition with no mechanical issues whatsoever. A diligently maintained car, this 356 underwent a comprehensive service some months back which included the following maintenance items:

@tampabaysportscars I believe it is but cannot say for certain. If you approach this as a high quality driver, you won’t be disappointed. The paint stands in very nice shape and presents well.
Are you sure the original car was red. The dash is black which I've never seen a 356 where the dash and the body are not the same color.
