scaledetails1, There are quite a few of these IDENTICAL Toolkits to mine advertised for sale on the Internet around the world that are all described as FERRARI F355 OEM TOOLKITS using the Ferrari Part Number referenced. Can it be that ALL these people are incorrect and only YOU are correct? As previously stated, I encourage prospective Bidders to research my Toolkit independently before Bidding. I am convinced of which Ferrari (F355) this Kit belongs with and I believe you will be too. Except scaledetails1 of course.
Seller,
I am sorry to tell you that Ferrari never produced a short case for the 355, in fact, they continued on the tall case from the 348 spider into the 355.
One way you can tell is the strap inside your 355 trunk will be too long for your short case. Regardless of where it came from this is 100% not for the F355 cars. Another way to tell is the towing hook for the 355 is shorter than the one in your tool kit here.
Best of luck with your sale, I wouldn’t want any bidders misinformed.
It isn’t the first time I see Ferraris come with the wrong tool kits, in your case, you probably didn’t know but I suspect previous owner couldn’t find one as they are rare and expensive, whereas the shirt cases are easier to find, and to some, sufficient enough.
If you enter your 355 in any concours you will find out very quickly what I just stated.
@carguyclassics In the interest of accuracy, despite a Comment to the contrary, I have searched the Internet and found that my Toolkit is from a 355 Ferrari Coupe; the 355 Spider appears to be a taller case. There are a number of 456 GT tool cases on the Internet, a few similar to mine, most others completely different. Search for yourselves before Bidding; you'll win a genuine Ferrari F355 Toolkit in MY Auction! Good Luck! Bid often and Bid higher!
Hi scaledetails1
My F355 did come with two of these and I have no reason to believe that both identical Toolkits would not be for that car. I appreciate your comment. Thank you all for your bids and keep it up!
This is not a 355 tool case, it is a 456GT tool kit, only reason I know is I have owned several F355's and they all came with the tall case from the factory. Seller might have seen it come with his car but it is not the correct tool kit.

Thank you for your bids! When I bought my F355 used, I discovered two Brand New Toolkits inside. One stayed with the car and this one sat for years on a shelf in my Office. Great conversation piece for those in the know. With Covid and working from home, it was carefully put in a carton and stored -- and forgotten. The Ferrari -- and Office -- are gone and replaced with other great cars so it's time to downsize my collection of parts and memorabili that my wife says are no longer needed! No surprises, you'll be very pleased if you win this gorgeous Toolkit! Carefully packaged and Insured USPS Shipping with Tracking will be an additional $45.00. Good Luck to all interested parties and thanks again!
