Available for auction is a Mercedes Silver Arrow 1955 Formula 1 1/3 scale display model. The masterfully crafted model has been fabricated with an aluminum tubing frame with steel skin. The seller states this is a working pedal car that includes a fully functional steering wheel, air filled tires and wire wheels, gauges, plexiglass windscreen, mirrors, correct plaid material seat, a transmission shifter for coast or pedal mode, and opening hood. 
The 1/3 scale model measures approximately 58” in length, with a width of 23”, and a weight of approximately 30 lbs. The seller hand built this model from original blueprints approximately 18 months ago. The seller states the model has been signed and assigned a “VIN” number. 
The model is the perfect fusion of sculpture and engineering making this a unique collector’s item that is a tribute to Stirling Moss and the golden age of Formula 1. Welcome to the auction for this one of a kind Mercedes Formula 1 car. My background as the builder of this car starts with a career in mechanical engineering. Add to the mix is 3 decades of selling original oil paintings. So the cars I build are a fusion of art and science. Of course all this is driven by a love of Porsche, Ferrari and Mercedes cars.
