Step into the world of classic Hollywood and automotive excellence with this exclusive tribute collection to the legendary Steve McQueen, fondly known as "The King of Cool." This meticulously curated ensemble features a remarkable Black and White photograph capturing McQueen in his iconic 70’s era Porsche Drivers suit, complete with an authentic autograph that immortalizes his charisma.
As a timeless accessory, the collection includes the sought-after Heuer Monaco Watch, presented in its exquisite varnished wooden box adorned with the official Porsche Crest – a symbol of precision and prestige.
To accentuate McQueen's racing legacy, the collection proudly showcases authentic Gulf and Heuer driver badges, emblematic of his unmatched passion for speed and style.
Additionally, a striking reproduction of another Black and White photograph graces this ensemble, allowing you to bask in the nostalgia and allure of an era that remains eternally captivating.
In the cinematographic evocation of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, reality and fiction constantly cross paths and the sequences shot in a car that actually took part in the race really bring incomparable realism to the story that is told on screen. This impression is reinforced by the fact that Steve McQueen, who plays the hero of the film, is an experienced and talented driver. When he began shooting his 1971 film Le Mans, Steve McQueen fulfilled the dream of his life by combining his two passions, cinema and motor sport. Until the release of Le Mans 66 directed by James Mangold in 2019, no film had ever so masterfully evoked the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As a bonus, the seller has also included a Steve McQueen-The King of Cool poster to supplement the collection.
This tribute collection is more than memorabilia; it's an embodiment of Steve McQueen's enduring influence and an ode to his everlasting reign as an icon of cool. Don't miss the chance to own a piece of history that pays homage to a true legend. Place your bids now and be part of this remarkable journey into the legacy of "The King of Cool." Due to the uncertainty regarding the authenticity of the Heuer Watch, the auction has been withdrawn.

The watch itself would be 5-7k of the value if it is real. That's why I asked for more information. Steve is cool as anyone but I needed more details. No offense, just facts. Thanks
To all bidders
I bought the item as a piece of artwork. Not something to break into parts. I don’t know about the watch any more than the pictures displayed as I where a Patek.
So honestly I’m not sure to all parties inquiries.
It’s Artwork and as I stated I purchased it from a reputable dealer and mainly because of my admiration of STEVE MAC QUEEN.
Thank You for your inquiries and interest.
Respectfully JEDD

@keyes3 I agree. This watch doesn't match the 2017 Gulf Monaco re-issue which had a clear display case back. The engraving on this watch's case back also doesn't match other 1969-1979 special edition engravings. And the printing and spacing of the Gulf logo, "automatic" and "swiss made" do not match with any of Tag's Gulf reissues. Maybe it's a one-off for Porsche Racing, but a simple serial number would solve this, @jedd.
While I respect your stance on what you may perceive as provenance, I would love to bid but it will hinge on a proper serial number. I feel the watch and case may be a knock off. If you provide evidence otherwise I will place a proper bid. It's neat but not worth shinola if fake. I see you deal in nice things so I feel like you understand my concerns. Thanks again

I purchased the piece from a very reputable dealer in Europe. Part of my purchase was authenticity.
As far as the numbers on the watch I’ve only taken it out of the display for these photos.
I have a few Tags and they all have a serial number. Could you provide that please. Thank You!
Is the watch running? Thank you.
I want to bid but could you post more paperwork with the watch. It is not matching any of the online resources. Maybe there is more detail under the book or under the "pillow"

Thank you for the information. Do you have an idea how much to ship UPS to North Carolina? Thanks.
Yes it is an actual LIVE and REAL authentic signature
from him.
Nice collection! Is the photo of Steve McQueen an actual signature from him? Did he sign this photo? if so do you have authentication for the signature? thanks.

I purchased the piece as you see it . The only time the watch has been out of the display was for the pictures. I’m quite sure it’s not a 1970s watch but a later commemorative series
Bid in the amount of $200
Can you provide the year of the watch?
