Available for auction is a vintage BMW illuminated sign from the 1970s featuring raised lettering and authentic period design. Measuring an impressive 60” in diameter, this rare piece carries over 55 years of history and presents in good condition with normal traces of use consistent with age as stated by the seller. 
The seller also states the sign has been updated with LED illumination and currently operates on 230 volts, though it can easily be converted to 12 volts or 110 volts for versatile display options. Glass was mostly only used until the end of the 1950s, after which most advertisements were made of plastic.
