Measuring an impressive 42" x 72”, the sign is powered by a transformer, has real neon glass and constructed from heavy-gauge steel. Commissioned approximately 8 years ago, this stunning piece was built to closely replicate the original 1930s dealership signs, featuring yellow backlit plexiglass panels on both sides where the original dealership name would have been displayed—now offering the opportunity for custom personalization by its new owner.
More than just a decorative item, this sign is a powerful tribute to one of America’s most iconic motorcycle brands, Indian Motorcycles. Founded by George M. Hendee, the brand began as the Hendee Manufacturing Company before evolving into Indian, a name that quickly rose to fame with its 1902 debut motorcycle and early racing success.
