Available for auction is an original rear lower diffuser from the iconic Ferrari F40, removed from the very car that famously caught fire in Monaco in February 2020—a widely publicized incident featured in Road & Track, Motor1, and Autoweek. This piece was recovered in Europe shortly after the fire and has since been stored indoors in San Diego, California. 
While no longer functional as a car part, the diffuser bears authentic signs of fire damage including burning, melted fiberglass, exposed composite layers, and traces of original red paint, making it a striking and historic display piece. 
Sold as shown, packaged securely in a wooden crate, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a documented artifact from one of Ferrari’s most legendary supercars.
