@gtdavid Hi, there is a larger crack on the right outside that should actually be in the auction description, but this is almost no longer visible from a meter away. The sign has patina, the colors of the plastic are no longer perfect from the sunlight but still beautiful. It has no frame and no original lighting. The other shield comes with a serial number with frame, is as good as new, the crests are perfect, there is a big difference, we wanted to make someone happy with this low reserve who does not mind patina and still wants an original and authentic shield, which is a good alternative to a high-priced one. That was probably nothing, the market is crazy, thousands of dollars are paid for bad copies, we prove the originality with pictures and nobody jumps on it, too bad it's not supposed to be, but we don't mind, the authentic signs won't be worth less over time. The coat of arms we are talking about here was once sold at Sothebys for around 7200 USD.Thanks for your question.

How is it that this sign is so cheap compared to other crests you have? I was trying to work out the differences between $17,000 dollar sign and this (apart from housing structure and two small cracks). It just made me wonder by such a significant contrast in price?
The final hours have begun and I've uploaded a few more pictures to the gallery. The frame looks worse than it is in the first pictures, but it definitely has patina, which it should have after many years outside in wind and weather.

Hello everyone,
Here is an authentic Porsche Dealership sign with an aluminum frame, the crest used to be installed at many Porsche Centers before the new version of the crest came out. On some houses this version still hangs today. For example on the Porsche Platz in Stuttgart in front of the headquarters and the museum.
This crest is very rare to buy.
It has a larger crack, but you can't see it from 1-2 meters away, even if you are standing close to it. You can't see it when it's illuminated. It's best to hang it on the wall and put a panel with LEDs behind it. We will be happy to give you tips or take care of the implementation.
Shipping costs around 400 USD as the coat of arms is very large.
We would also have the coat of arms with plaque one size larger in perfect condition ;)
