The latest model in GMC’s Hummer EV lineup, the SUV offers an output of 830 HP and 1,200 lb.-ft of torque from its electric motors along with 4-wheel steering crabwalk capabilities and extensive creature comforts. This 2024 Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 is finished in Moonshot Green Matte over a Lunar Shadow interior and was sold new by Ken Ganley Buick GMC of Sandusky, Ohio. It comes equipped with Super Cruise driver assistance, Watts to Freedom launch control, air-ride adaptive suspension, a power swing gate, a Bose sound system, and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Ohio while showing approximately 3k miles on the odometer.
Production of the shorter-wheelbase GMC Hummer SUV began in January of 2023, and this example comes finished in Moonshot Green Matte. Its features include front & rear tow recovery hooks, Etrunk with a power hood, LED headlamps, an Infinity Roof with transparent sky panels, fixed aluminum side steps, a power swing gate, and a set of 22” aluminum wheels. The cabin is upholstered in Lunar Shadow and features 12-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats. Amenities include a Super Cruise driver-assistance system, tri-zone automatic climate control, an UltraVision system, a heated steering wheel, a configurable digital display panel, a Bose surround-sound system, and a 13.4” touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The seller has provided images of the original window sticker which includes a full list of factory-equipped features.
Power is provided by a 3-motor setup with a single motor with a 13.3:1 fixed gear ratio and an electronic locking differential at the front, and two motors with a fixed 10.5:1 gear ratio at the rear. It uses an Ultium battery pack with 20 pouch-style vertical cell modules and is compatible with 800-volt/350-kW fast-charging stations. Other performance features include regenerative braking, air-ride suspension with adaptive dampers, and the CrabWalk four-wheel steering system which allows the rear wheels to turn up to 10°, allowing the truck to travel diagonally at low speeds. The seller notes factory warranty will not apply to the next owner per GM regulations.

@Actfsu Compared to the truck, the SUV feels smaller, more like driving a Wrangler Unlimited. Other than still feeling wide, it drives much smaller than the truck. Most of that is probably the shorter wheel base, which in turn has an amazing turning radius of a vehicle half its size. Both are super comfortable thanks to the air ride, but the SUV feels far more manageable, and makes far more sense for daily driving.
Leo, did you get a chance to drive the Truck version as well? Interested to see how the SUV drives with the shorter wheelbase vs the mammoth truck
@CarCollector48 yes unfortunately a paper was signed. BUT the new owner can still purchase an aftermarket warranty from a reputable company!
I just bought the same car here in Cali and was told NOW Dealers were given the green light to sell their demos and new cars. I have factory warranty on mine and can almost guarantee this one does as well. (Unless the Owner signed a paper)?

@bhmohio Yes the car is fully equipped with GM Super Cruise features and hardware. And note that I’ve enjoyed using it on a few occasions and its amazing!

Very cool SUV. Let me get this straight; you can’t keep this another few months and then sell it for substantially more since it’ll have a full warranty? I get the whole passion for vehicles and/or boredom, but . . .

@Jayster1911 yes GM said if you sell the vehicle within six months of ownership then the warranty will be voided. I am selling the Hummer because I have an automobile sickness LOL! This is vehicle #100 that I have owned since I have been 16 years old! Please rest assured there is nothing wrong with the Hummer!
