The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest in my auction. This is a gorgeous car. I've always garaged this car ever since I acquired it. I configured this one to be mostly Ad campaign spec (w/ PCCB) and wanted to sell my 997.2 GT3 and DD this one - but it's so stunning in performance and the shark blue + black wheels look so beautiful that I couldn't convince myself to get it out of the garage and ended up retaining both. Having owned and driven both, I will attest that this is absolutely the best GT3 right beside the 997.2, imho. Right now, I am thinking of letting this one go so I can get either a 997.2 GT3 RS or 992 S/T, depending on what fits the bill :-). Good luck to you.

Come on guys....give me a first win :)
I agree @Kailua808, @Skopy54. we have to factor in the ADP + wait times the SF bay area with so much competition getting an allocation for this. with GTx cars it's always that way in the recent times.. I also got a lot of push to get PTS color too.
Bid in the amount of $269,500
@Kailua808 I concur.
When the seller said "I am thinking of letting this one go" my guess was that the reserve would be more than I thouhgt was fair market value for this car. But what is fair market value? The beauty of open markets is the relationship between willing buyer and willing seller. That my friends is the foundation of fair market value. But wow...what a beautiful car.
This color is top notch. Manual. Great spec. Seller has great taste.

less than an hr to go. let's get things rolling :-)
@ORFFlyer agreed. I like how the tacho still sways ever so slightly with engine trembles when idling, making it feel very mechanical. tbh, GT4RS also felt the same way (Porsche won't offer manual with those either, dang)
@Noahjohn @Noahjohn. I fell in love with the blue family of color when a SB zoomed past me on 101 at 84 exit during sunset, the SB blue with red tail lights + PCCB yellow calipers on the wheels. Porsche got my attention back after a long time.
Like most people, 991 wasn't my cup of tea.. but Hey, any 99x is way better than other cars out there in the same class)
I think Shark Blue just moved up on my list of favorite Porsche blues.

nice looking car. configured well and Practically new!!!. GLWS. I see the extended Dashboard leather package is added completing the full leather on the edges of the dashboard when doors open. it's weird porsche doesn't include it with the leather package as standard.
This one could be a steal as with new 992.2 gt3 configured like this would be more expensive now + ADP... and .2 gt3 doesn't have analog center Tach anymore either, an indicator of Hybrid/EV motor coming soon! smh.
Thanks for all the bids so far. Just about half a day to go. so Keep more bids coming :-) Truly a very Special car -- only few cars out there can feel so involving like a GT3 especially in the 3 pedal config ;-) Definitely another classic in the lineup. Good luck again.

Nicely spec'd car!
@Blairwarlock Yeah, I agree. most non-standard colors are that way, imo. so throw in the Maritime blue as well :-D. Anyways, I tried my best to reflect & capture closest I could at various sun lights (times of the day). But the SB color is stunning in person and suits the GT3 esp. with black wheels and black front duct/lips + black captions all around astoundingly well. cameras have their own mind, and the displays we use render them in their own specific RGB profile as well. To make matters worse, our eyes trick us with varying light. There’s a whole bunch of discussions out there on how PTS/special colors varying slightly on rennlist and 6speed too.
For ex: I am not a big fan of British Racing Green and colors in that neighborhood until I saw a turbo S in Underberg green in person — It was spectacular and very different from BR Green but photos don’t show that difference. I contemplated for way too long going through so many online discussions to decide choosing btwn Viper vs PureGreen vs “Grun” (the 997.2 RS Green) when I had an option to go for it with 992 GT3 RS. I couldn’t tell how original “Grun" it looks with so many photos as these colors either are overlapping or superimposing :-). Same with “linden" vs “light" green. I guess that’s why Porsche disclaimer states they can’t help with final color as hue varies when configuring and 'is in the eye of the beholder’, LOL.
@Kailua808 @Kailua808, yes PPF is installed. Yeah, great looking car. The SB + black wheels look stunning. Only a few non standard colors will suit an aggressive yet classy looking sport car with a conspicuous rear spoiler like that. and I think Porsche nailed it. I had transitioned from Guards red, C.White and then Basalt Black GT3, and SB is beautifully different.
I wish Shark Blue looked like that in person. It’s hard to photograph like Miami Blue. They all look more like Riviera Blue in photos if you don’t adjust camera settings.
