Developed as a one-off showcase vehicle for the SEMA Show, this 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S was extensively modified by RENNtech and is finished in Diamond White Metallic over a two-tone Black and Red Nappa Exclusive leather interior. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, upgraded with RENNtech’s R3 performance package. In addition to the factory-equipped AMG Dynamic Plus Package, panoramic glass sunroof, COMAND infotainment, Keyless Go, and heated and power-adjustable performance seats, the RENNtech upgrades include a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, ADV.1 20”/21” three-piece wheels, coilover suspension, and more. Featured in Top Gear, DuPont Registry, and GT Spirit, this highly customized AMG GT S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey with under 16k miles on the odometer.
This example is finished in Diamond White Metallic (799U) with a contrasting red hood stripe. The car wears a wide array of carbon fiber elements as part of the RENNtech aerodynamic package, including the front splitter, rocker panels, side skirts, adjustable DTM-style rear wing, and diffuser with CNC aluminum tips. It rides on 20” and 21” RENNtech ADV.1 three-piece wheels wrapped in a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images, including paint meter readings, are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is trimmed in two-tone black and red Nappa Exclusive leather. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated AMG performance seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting with multiple color settings, blind spot and lane-keeping assist, a rearview camera, COMAND infotainment system with navigation, and a Burmester premium surround sound system. A carbon fiber brace is mounted behind the seats.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter M178 V8 engine upgraded with the RENNtech R3 Package, which includes a RENNtech ECU upgrade, Stage II turbochargers, stainless steel downpipes with 200-cell catalytic converters, fuel system upgrade, BOV adapters, and BMC high-flow air filters. A RENNtech Transmission Control Unit (TCU) upgrade is also equipped, enhancing shift response. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The AMG Dynamic Plus Package adds dynamic engine and transmission mounts, firmer damping, enhanced steering calibration, and increased negative camber. A fully adjustable RENNtech coilover suspension supports handling, while stopping power comes from standard red-finished AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors. The seller states that all maintenance is up to date, with service performed exclusively by authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a window sticker, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, a sales brochure, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Here is the chance for someone to own a very special, one-of-a-kind piece of MB AMG brilliance. Never to be seen again. There was an article printed in the March 2017 issue of the duPont Registry about this build. If you're a collector or a weekend tracker, this one will fill any voids you have. No one does it better than Renntech when it comes to doing mods on an AMG, and the support and service they provide is invaluable. This car is 100% in every category and needs nothing but a new home.”

@Rockit, could not agree more and not because it's my car.
Low six figures is more than fair and would get it done.
Anything less would be an insult especially since it was a $215k build.
Anyone looking for a track car that needs nothing other than some PPF is missing out.
Thanks for the kind words.
That's a lot of car for a good value. Wish I had more room at the moment. Stunning work.

Here we are on the final day of this auction which ends at 3:15pm EST.
A thank you to all who have made comments and placed bids on this one off Renntech track monster.
Please be sure to refresh your browser often so that you are in sync with the auction clock.
The clock resets back to 2 minutes each time a bid is placed under 2 minutes left so no need to try and get in a bid at the final few seconds.
I'll be available all day to the end for any remaining questions.
Good luck everyone.
Just stumbled across this car looking for another Porsche… problems, they all said it would happen… I purchased a 996 Turbo from @Tangerine997 early this year. Car showed up just as presented in auction. Clean and well cared for. Bid with confidence if this is the car for you. Now back to my search. 993 C4S in arctic silver with aero kit anyone?
I have had several Renntech cars and what they build works. Not some backyard tune but well developed parts that integrate with OEM. Nice!!!
Sorry for the side shot, maybe Pcar can spin it right side up.
The question has not been asked yet but thought I would address ground clearance at the front spoiler.
Anyone concerned about the nose hitting or scraping speed bumps or low driveways is not a problem.
There is about 5" as seen by the picture just added.
Driving the car around town, in and out of parking lots comes with no worries.
I myself have never had an issue and the undercarriage shots prove that.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.

With about 31 hours left to this auction, I would like to thank those who stopped by during the weekend to see the car in person.
Hope you enjoyed checking it out as much as I did showing it.
Also, thanks to everyone for the bids so far.
@Raceman, No Mike it does not, sorry.
The MB navigation works great and with the sounds this car makes, I'm not sure anyone needs music.
One last question---Does the car have the Apple Car play feature for navigation? Thanks, Mike

@Raceman, Hello Mike,
When I received the car it was bone dry in all areas and it's bone dry today.
With having said that, you can see from the Carfax and the VMI report I provided that the rear main seal was addressed on 6-21-16.
During my ownership I noticed a small dime size oil leak and had that looked at during the 9-23 service.
Turns out it was a bad plug on the oil pan and nothing more. The dealer did make note of maybe having to replace the rear seal again as to run up the repair $$$ which they so often do.
Also see the trans service on that same invoice with zero issues.
Mike - feel free to DM me with the contact seller button and we can discuss any and all aspects of the car by phone if that will give you a better level of confidence.
Thanks again.
There have been no fluid leaks since that plug was replaced.
Some of these cars have been recalled to have the drive shaft replaced depending on the VIN#.
This car was not one of them.
Will you please assure me that there is NO Oil/Trans fluid leaking from the transaxle. Thanks, MIke E
Bid in the amount of $43,000
Good morning all and thank you for the opening bids.
Two other items that will be included in the sale but not mentioned are an AMG custom sun shade for the front shield and a HHT that I purchased from Renntech ($1200.00) so you could convert it back to stock if desired.
I also did a drive by video yesterday so look for that to be up sometime today when Pcarmarket adds it in.
Again - I'm available during the auction to answer your questions.

Bid in the amount of $10,000
@brg41, thanks for posting that.
Even though it's listed in the documents I added in the photos I realized that PCARMARKET never put that in the description.
Nothing there in reference to what the factory stock power was and what the Renntech is now.
761 HP
632 torque
I experienced this car on GoldRush Rally in 2016. Cool to see it here. This thing rips.
@Raceman, Hey Mike thanks for the questions.
The red stripe is vinyl and can be removed. It's what Renntech adds to each car they modify.
Kind of putting their own "stank" on what they do as Danny would say from Counting Cars.
The color is not the same as the wheels as they are darker with more of a high gloss finish.
The stripe is very close to the red pepper on the seats and dash.
I have never had it on a dyno, but it was several times at Renntech during the build process.
Pix #269, 270, and 271 show the actual HP and torque that was published by Renntech.
It's actually more than a Black Series which I believe is 720hp.
Hope this helps.
Is the red stripe painted or vinyl? Is the stripe the same color as the wheels. Has it event been on a Dyno? Horse power estimate? Thanks, Mike
Hello everyone and welcome to the auction for this Renntech AMG GTS SEMA build.
This build was done in their shop in Stuart, FLA.
They took a stock 2016 AMG GTS and basically turned it into their version of the AMG Black Series for far less.
You are looking at a one of one build from Renntech with a lot of well documented history.
A true "Provenance" car to say the least.
It's been kept in a climate controlled garage during my ownership and has never been tracked by me or anyone else during it's lifespan.
I have only ever taken it to car shows, driven if local and trailered by me if out of town.
Purely a show car but certainly can be tracked and is setup to do so.
This 15K-Mile 2016 GTS Renntech SEMA build is available to view by appointment so click the contact seller button if interested.
I'll be around all week to answer any questions to the best of my ability so don't be shy.
Good luck to all bidders.
