The sixth-generation Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, known as the R231, marked a significant leap forward as the first SL constructed almost entirely from aluminum, shedding over 300 lbs. compared to its predecessor. This 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 is finished in Diamond White Metallic over Red Nappa leather with Ash Black wood trim. Equipment includes the AMG Styling Package, Magic Sky Control panoramic roof, heated and ventilated Dynamic Seats with Airscarf, Keyless-Go, Active Park Assist, and more. Showing approximately 31k miles on the odometer, this SL550 is now being offered for auction by the seller out of New York.
This example was ordered in Diamond White Metallic (799U) and includes a power-operated hardtop with an electrochromic Magic Sky Control glass panel. Equipment also includes bi-xenon headlights with active curve illumination, fender vents, LED taillights, dual chrome exhaust outlets, and AMG Styling Package-specific bumpers and side skirts. The car rides on 19” five-spoke AMG wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting very minor rear-end damage in August 2021.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Red Semi-Aniline Nappa leather upholstery complemented by Ash Black wood trim. Amenities include heated and ventilated Dynamic Seats with Airscarf, dual-zone automatic climate control, a COMAND multimedia system with navigation and Bluetooth functionality, a rearview camera, a Harman Kardon audio system, the Keyless-Go Package, Active Park Assist, and illuminated door sill guards. All gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power is derived from a twin-turbocharged 4.7L V8, which was factory rated at 429 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a seven-speed automatic transmission, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in just 4.1 seconds. Performance features include electromechanical power steering, a fully independent multi-link front and rear suspension, four-piston front brake calipers, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Automatic Slip Reduction (ASR). The seller highlights a recent oil change, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 11 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car will surely put a smile on your face every time you get inside.”

Reason for selling is I do not use the car and do not want it to sit
I bought the car with that damage and therefore do not know exactly what occurred. I do know prior to my taking possession of the car I had an inspection done and the inspection revealed it was indeed very minor damage as there was no visible signs of anything. The car is perfect.
You will not be disappointed if you are the winning bidder. Car also comes with a custom made car cover
Please describe Rear damage and repairs made.

We sold both our 2019 Corvette Z06 conv (automatic) and 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S conv (6sp manual) after buying our 2018 SL550. The SL is quicker than the 911, more comfy than the Z06, and we love the security and quietness of the hardtop convertible. Going from comfortable grand tourer to firm riding sporter with the push of a button, the exhaust note changes, suspension firms up, shift points move up, and throttle response sharpens. These are fabulous cars, very much underrated. GLWTA.
Personally seen this car and owner is very meticulous. Car has been well cared for.
@patco2927 you can buy oem replacement part for under $150 and its a 20 minute DIY to remove the steering wheel and pop out the buttons and replace

All 4 Wheels are in perfect condition not a scratch on them. The controls on the steering wheel are common to these cars. Yes, they can be replaced just didn’t bother me.
