The facelifted 987.2-generation Porsche Cayman was launched for the 2009 model year, featuring revised styling, the option of a new 7-speed PDK transmission, and direct fuel injection for the Cayman S's 3.4-liter flat-six engine. This 2012 example is finished in Carrara White over a Black interior. It comes generously equipped with optional 19” Carrera S II wheels, heated 12-way power comfort seats with crested headrests, automatic climate control, the Convenience Package, Infotainment Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), auto-dimming mirrors, and bi-xenon headlights with PDLS. The car was purchased by its third owner in 2022, who oversaw a PDK transmission service, brake service, new coils and spark plugs, and the installation of upgraded Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, an OEM sport mode button, and a carbon-fiber trimmed sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. A lifelong California car, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction with approximately 115k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Carrara White, this Cayman S is equipped with optional bi-xenon headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), headlamp washers, LED taillights and daytime running lights, auto-dimming mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers. Other equipment includes side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual center-mounted exhaust tips, red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and optional 19” Carrera S II wheels dressed in Michelin tires. The seller indicates a few small paint chip touch-ups on the rear bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black interior features optional heated 12-way power comfort seats with Porsche-crested headrests and a replacement OEM carbon fiber-trimmed sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, a digital trip computer, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, and BOSE Surround Sound System. Minimal signs of wear are noted, and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories are fully functional.
Rated at 320 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque, the mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine features integrated dry sump lubrication, direct fuel injection, and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The seller indicates an OEM sport mode button was installed in 2022 along with a PDK transmission service, new brake fluid, and stainless-steel brake lines. The spark plugs, ignition coils, and CV boots were changed in 2023, and new Bilstein PSS9 coilovers were installed in 2024, along with new brake rotors, pads, sensors, a wheel alignment, and an oil change.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Very good looking, great model year, sounds and handles great.”

@gord0000 If a car came with the sport Chrono option from factory it would automatically have the sport plus function, which, according to Porsche
Would sharpen the throttle and gear changes and in the more recent models suspension as well , with this car only the throttle and gear changes would change and no changes to suspension.
Hope that helps

What are the functions of the "Sport" and "Sport Plus" buttons? Does it change suspension, fuel mapping, gearing? Which button was added?
