The flagship 911 of its era, the 997.2 Turbo S was Porsche’s fastest production car upon debut, equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged engine producing 530 HP. This 2012 example is finished in Black over a matching full leather interior and features a factory Aerokit, clear taillights, the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, and more. Standard performance features include the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and center-lock wheels. Showing approximately 15k miles on the odometer, this Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of Oregon.
Finished in Black, this 997.2 features the Aerokit Turbo (XAF) package, incorporating side skirts, a lower front spoiler, and a larger bi-plane rear wing. The Turbo-specific bodywork includes wide fenders with side air intakes, a front bumper with large radiator grilles, a vented rear bumper, and a speed-activated rear spoiler, while the “S” version receives yellow ceramic brake calipers and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. Painted mirror attachment points, clear taillights, and an aluminum-look fuel cap were further selected. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents premium Black full leather upholstery complemented by the optional Carbon Fiber Interior Package. Accessories include a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial atop the dashboard, automatic climate control, cruise control, power seats, driver’s seat memory, a Bose sound system, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation.
A twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine sends up to 530 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is reached in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The Turbo S comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). Additionally, an AWE exhaust system has been installed, and the selling dealer has performed a recent oil change. A total of 19 service entries are shown on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title.

Beautiful car! I have a 2013 with 17,000 miles just like it that I purchased new and still love it today. Someone will get a great car.
@charlieclark1 Interesting observation.
What puzzles me about this car, despite the fact that it checks all the right boxes, is that I’m stuck pondering why this car, which has slipped through the hands of 6 owners (and has very low miles) didn’t stick with one of those owners -- why didn’t someone decide to hang on to it? In a market where 997.2’s are generally bringing in good money, this confuses me.
Seller, would you please help me understand why this might be? Perhaps an extensive PPO and thorough test-drive would square things up a little more. Car just needs more vetting.
At least for me, a best-case scenario would be that six people had financial difficulties. If that’s the case, let’s do some digging here.
Please note that I really want this car, but I also want to see a little more transparency on the seller’s part, please.
GLWA!
Offer in the amount of $110,000
The 2011-1013 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S was a run out high spec model with a production number of around 2000.
A Great car that should hold or
increase in value in future years. Surprised that this car with Great options and low miles didn't have much higher bids. Market appears to be soft now but will eventually recover. Good luck.
Offer in the amount of $105,000

Best of luck to all bidding. Will keep tabs on this VIN in case it comes up for sale again down the road.
@cibenglish What you're seeing is BMC filters. It's a common upgrade on these over the traditional stock filters. However, there is no tune installed on this car.
With low miles and factory aerokit this should do very well.
The air filter viewable in picture 151 is the typical filter you get with your tuning kit. Can you confirm which variety of tune has been installed?

@edgardlaw The wing on the Aerokit is fixed. Porsche just was lazy and never took the button out inside.
Can you post a video of wing operation … have not seen one with Aerokit

@Sphinz The entire front end of the car is covered in PPF - hense the higher paint meter readings.
PCCB are in perfect shape. No warping feeling under hard braking and they still have a nice shine to them indicating they have not been used hard.
As for the tire change - I am not sure. It could have been that the previous owner had a different set of wheels on it and they recorded it as a tire change which we have seen before.
@edgardlaw No mods other than the exhaust
Is there a tune on the car. What other mods are there besides the exhaust?
Any idea on why the battery was replaced twice in 2 months in 2020? Also a little strange that recent tire work was done at a Toyota dealer and 6 owners on a 15k mile car.
What type of PPI has been performed on this vehicle as a part of this sale? Are PCCBs in good condition and are rotors damaged or warped?
Does the vehicle have any PPF, and if not, does the front end have rock chips and has the vehicle been resprayed?

Correction: My 2010 997.2 GT3
@420Time My 2010 997.2 has the front-axle-lift feature (not standard), but I have no further info re whether the 997.2 Turbos might have had the FAL as an available option. GLWA

@gpmotors Do you have any maintenance documentation other than the carfax?
@patwacokid, 997.2 Gen did not come with FAL
Do you have the Window Sticker. Thanks.
Does it have a front lift kit?
