Representing the launch year of the 991 generation, this 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is finished in Black over a matching interior and features a 7-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. At an original sticker price of over $121k, it came factory-equipped with the optional Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package, heated and ventilated 14-way Power Sport Seats, the BOSE Audio Package, Power Steering Plus, and body-colored 20” SportDesign wheels. Cared for by two owners and with approximately 29k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts.
This 991 is finished in Black with a matching power-operated convertible top. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, headlamp cleaners with optional painted covers, LED taillights and daytime running lights, heated power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad Sport Exhaust System tailpipes, and red brake calipers. The car rides on optional black-painted 20” SportDesign wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires. The right front tire was recently replaced, and the other three tires were installed in 2021 at 22k miles. Clear paint protection film is applied to the front bumper, the front of the hood, and the headlight surrounds. The seller notes a small scuff on the right front wheel, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black interior features optional heated and ventilated 14-way Power Sport Seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch. Other accessories include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, the optional BOSE Audio Package, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The seller notes there are no signs of excessive wear on the seats or carpeting, and all accessories are fully functional.
Featuring integrated dry sump lubrication, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, direct fuel injection, and a variable resonance induction system, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine is rated at 400 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), the optional Sport Chrono Package, Power Steering Plus, and the Sport Exhaust System. The seller indicates the most recent documented service was performed in 2021, although the records are not available for more recent routine services.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, clear and amber side marker lenses, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I am the seller's agent for this beautiful and nicely equipped 991.1 S cabriolet. I sold it to him in 2015 as a Porsche Approved / certified car in 2015 with only 7,000 miles on it. This low-mileage, two-owner, and MANUAL TRANSMISSION example is in excellent condition and was gently driven, nicely maintained, and always garaged by its owner. I am both proud and pleased to be able to represent this 911 to the PCARMARKET community. I look forward to being proactive with any questions or comments. Please bid often and bid to win. Thank you.”

@Chip964 hi Chip. The window sticker is in the photo gallery. It was special ordered from Porsche with that model designation. I sold the car new in 2012, and then again as a certified preowned. That rear emblem can be swapped out should you wish. It is an S as denoted by the red calipers. I am not available to send you that requested photo. Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $41,000
Do you know why there is no S emblem on the rear? Would it be possible to take a picture of the build sticker which is on the underside of the back hood?

@SofiaLeo yes it is. Paint meter readings in the photo gallery. Carfax is clean.
@NHCarguy is the paint 100% original? Thanks
@aaacooled911 @aaacooled911...thank you. I do not know of any issues related to the undercarriage. I do know this Carrera has been gently driven under his stewardship and garaged when not in use. The 30K documents have been uploaded to the gallery. It illustrates that a multi point inspection was performed with nothing of concern noted. (images 155/156) My client informs me that he was not provided a written checklist for the multipoint.
@NHcarguy. Typically the Porsche dealer performs an inspection checklist with recommended services before
performing the 30k service. Can you share that report with us? Also please post the 30k service receipt that was done today.
@NHcarguy. Appears to be traces of a coolant leak/seepage on top of photo 122. Also surface rust on bolts.
Can you speak to this and to the condition of the rest of the undercarriage?
Good day PCarmarket watchers and bidders. This 911S just had a 30K service today with 6 new spark plugs installed. Images of the service documents were just uploaded to the gallery. A new RF tire is on order. Also, and to clarify earlier comments, this auction has been running since 6/17. Any last minute requests for a viewing and a PPI will not be considered. Every attempt has been made to be 100% transparent and truthful. Sorry for any miscommunication. Thank you for your understanding and support.

@aaacooled911 thank you for your comment. Happy to make those arrangements. Please understand that the PPI would be at your expense. Let’s see how the auction plays out.
@NHCarguy @NHCarguy. If I am the winning bidder, I want a viewing and PPI as a condition of sale, as well.

Good day PCarmarket watchers and bidders. Thank you for participating in my auction of this beautiful 991.1 S cabriolet. Please feel free to PM me using the "contact seller" button on the site should have a specific question vs. a general comment. Thank you and enjoy the sale.
@custombuild so sorry, but my client is not available this weekend. The auction closes on Tuesday and I do not see any available time to satisfy your request. I would consider a viewing and PPI as a condition of sale should you be the winning bidder. That said, I am a retired Porsche GSM - Brand Ambassador and have sold and shipped Porsches all over the globe without any issues or complaints. Bottom line...this car is legit and will not disappoint. Thank you!
@custombuild I would need to check with my client on availability. Is there anything specific that I can answer? I painstakingly issued plenty of photos and a detailed description on the listing. I do know it's going in for a new RF tire and oil service on Monday.
Viewed and possibly a PPI scheduled with a qualified local shop. I would like to take a look at the car and could possibly do that tomorrow.
@custombuild good day. It’s located in Hingham, MA… per listing. What do you mean by “inspected”. I would need to ask my client about availability. Thanks.
Is the car available to be viewed and inspected? If so where is it located?

@SofiaLeo all set? Yes...the paint is original.
@NHCarguy LOL! Sorry just saw the paint meter reading pictures!!
@NHCarguy Nice! is the paint 100% original?
Bid in the amount of $15,000
@enthusiastpcar thanks for your comment. Dealer and customer deemed it unnecessary. The car has been gently driven by it's middle aged owner and his wife. Never pushed to its upper limits. You are more than welcomed to make it a condition of sale if you are the winning bidder (at your expense)...frankly a waste of $$$ on this one.
Bid in the amount of $250
Any chance you have a DME report available?
What a beauty! I will definitely be in on this if it stays within my budget
@Regulator28 Hi Jim, yes...image #105 best illustrates the 4 buttons to control the 14 way seats. The round one in the rear position controls the lumbar. I hope that helps.
@NHCarguy I can see the car had 14 way power seat - does that include power lumbar support ? I made a mistake on a 928 14 way seat that didn’t have lumbar support.
Thanks,Jim Walsh
Thanks, Jim Walsh
