II’m with @slwags10 - final bud lite. Let’s not forget the 997.2 targa 4S with 120k miles or so that sold for $48k.
The 2015 is a very different car. There is a big difference between the 997.2 and 991.1. I know because I have 1 of each.
The 997.2 has developed a very strong following. The 991.1 is awesome also, but just not quite the cult following but I believe will get there in the future.
All, of course, IMHO !
@DylanY uhhh, really?
@Mrkbbd Always open to offers!
That’s an aggressive asking price…

Let’s not forget the 997.2 Targa 4S that just sold for $125k plus. Yes is was a low mileage manual, but these glass-tops are a rare find with low mileage here in the states.
@Davidmcd2018 There is a video above that shows the operation of the top and shade. Everything works perfectly.
Does the targa top and shade function perfectly as new? Can u post a video?

@BlueridgeBear We appreciate the kind words and thank you for trusting us!
Bought a 997.2 Targa from GPmotors dealer this spring. Found the car’s condition to exceed all expectations, sales staff and shipping were topnotch. Had a PPI and body shop near dealer confirm what was represented, all parties were honest and if anything, undersold the vehicle’s outstanding condition.

This car was purchased from a dealer, by a very reputable dealer in Oregon. The purchase price was a good for the buyer, considering what the 997.2 Targa 4S has been bringing in good condition. In my opinion, it is worth more than what they paid. It was, at least momentarily, listed on their web page for significantly more money. But I think PCar and other auction sites don't like cars to be listed elsewhere while the auction runs. Dealerships are in business to make money. I certainly don't fault the seller for this transaction...
A dealer flip after a detail?
@notanothermiata I guess that gives us an idea of where the reserve will be on this one, north of $65k…
@954Bidder looks like it’s up for sale 1 month and 100 miles later.
Wasn't this car recently purchased thru another auction site (from new Orleans)?
Thx - i love mine - essentially same spec, PDK, just different interior color. Highly recommend the model.
@Ram3k by Model Year (Targa 4S) 2009-1156, 2010-629, 2011-379, 2012-76. The Targa 4 was a bit more rare (924 total 997.2 production), but that did not translate to more desirable/collectable. And yes, I am a huge fan of these amazing models... The one offered here is very close to my spec/options, right down to interior/exterior colors.
@slwags10 - thx, helpful correction.
Do you have breakdown by year, by chance ? Maybe the 791 # is for 2012 only.
Thx
@Ram3k While still a rare beauty, there were 2560 Targa 4S produced in the 997.2 configuration (2009-2012 1/2). I believe this one just came from the New Orleans area without super strong bidding due to what was described as maintenance records "lost during a move" from previous ownership. But the CarFax looks complete, and this one shows very well. These glass tops are so much fun to drive. and the hatch is a real head-turner at any Porsche event. I call them the executive's 997. Good Luck with the sale!

I have vin # ending …077 just 19 before this one. Mine is a 2012, also PDK, similarly equipped. Great car, the Carrara White and lines of the car get lots of notice. As to rarity, I’ve been told only 791 Targas were made in the 3 year 997.2 production run.
This looks very nice - wish I had capacity for another - I’d be all in on this one.

Can you please post a cold start video as well as the Targa top functioning?
