This 2011 Featherlite Custom Enclosed 24’ Gooseneck Trailer is a lightweight, tandem-axle unit constructed on an aluminum chassis. Finished in bare aluminum, it features 7,000-lb rubber torsion axles with electric brakes, a rear ramp with cable assist, a side entry door, 16” eight-hole wheels, an electric winch, a workbench, Gladiator cabinets, and much more. Used by its original owner for approximately 10k miles of club racing transport, this purpose-built trailer is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
Measuring 24’ in length, 8’6” in width, and 7’ in height, this example is finished in .040-gauge bare aluminum with riveted seams and a tapered nose. Equipment includes a gooseneck coupler, rear ramp door with full height and width, cable assist, pressure latches, treadplate surface, and vinyl hinge covers. It has a curbside personnel door, along with LED clearance lights, loading lights, taillights, and a powered roof vent. It rides on silver 16” eight-hole wheels wrapped in Mastertrack UN-203 tires, with a matching spare mounted to the interior wall. The seller notes a minor dent on the upper left rear corner. Inside, the trailer has been outfitted for trackside functionality and storage. Equipment includes a tool chest, dual Gladiator cabinets, wall-mounted shelving, a workbench, and a fold-out wood desk positioned beside the rear ramp. Additional gear includes D-Link tie-down straps, mounts for a nitrogen tank and pit bike (not included), a fold-out cot system, a towel rack, broom and hose holders, a wall-mounted fire extinguisher, and a power strip with multiple 110V outlets. A built-in electrical panel is located near the upper gooseneck sleeping/storage area, which is accessible via an aluminum ladder and currently holds a full-size mattress setup.
The trailer is equipped with tandem 7,000-lb rubber torsion axles paired with electric brakes and E-Z Lube hubs. A drop-leg jack is mounted up front, and additional equipment includes gooseneck safety chains, a breakaway system, and a sealed wiring harness for electrical protection. The seller reports no mechanical issues, and it has been regularly serviced and maintained throughout its single-owner history.

@GWhuffalo - Great question! The 24’ length does NOT include the sleeping/Gooseneck area which is 96". The rest of the trailer is an additional 24'!

@TPW - Troy from Featherlite just phoned me back and said he thinks that was a typo on the certificate and it was probably around 4500 pounds!

@drmbarry - Thank you for the question. Gooseneck trailers have a "Ball and coupler connection" in the truck bed. I have not checked the ratings on an f-150 for this application but in the towing world longer wheel base and more capacity is always better/safer. For reference the current tow vehicle for this trailer is an F-250 Crew Cab seen in the first photo at the top of the listing and is very capable.
