This 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Coupe has been refinished in Lizard Green and features an extensive list of cosmetic and performance modifications. Converted to rear-wheel drive, it pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six. Modifications include a GT3 RS front bumper, GTS rear bumper, ducktail rear spoiler, wide carbon fiber front fenders, a sunroof delete, Recaro bucket seats with custom inserts, a half roll cage, a Fabspeed air intake, a lightweight flywheel, a Numeric Racing short shift kit, a Softronic ECU tune, custom suspension, a Quaife limited-slip differential, and much more. Showing approximately 152k kilometers (~94k miles), this custom 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
Originally delivered in Carrara White, this 997 has been refinished in the striking Porsche shade of Lizard Green and is fully covered in paint protection film. Exterior modifications include a 997.2 GT3 RS front bumper with a spoiler lip, a 997.2 Carrera GTS rear bumper, LED taillights, a ducktail rear spoiler, Cargraphic wide carbon fiber front fenders, and carbon fiber side skirts. Custom green-painted brake calipers are set beneath 19” Breyton forged wheels in black with Firehawk Indy 500 tires in size 265/30ZR19 at the front dated 4419 and Cooper Zeon RS3-S tires in size 325/30ZR19 at the rear dated 4318. A Carrera 4S designation adorns the rear decklid, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The custom driver-focused cabin features Recaro Pole Position ABE bucket seats with custom green plaid inserts, a RAID Alcantara steering wheel, a Function First shift knob, and an RSS half roll cage. Additional modifications include green seatbelts, an Alcantara center console lid, and the removal of the rear seats. Factory options include the Carbon Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, Parking Assist System, Sport Chrono stopwatch dial, aluminum footrest, and self-dimming mirrors. The seller notes the subwoofer has been removed.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller states a Dyno test revealed an output of 337 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque. A rear-wheel-drive conversion has been performed, and the seller highlights the following enhancements:
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car is an absolute blast to drive and receives attention everywhere it goes. It has the look of an exotic with the Lizard Green color, but retains the raw feeling of the 997. It really feels like a race car for the street with the extensive performance modifications and Recaro buckets. The Cargraphic front fenders add width up front in a very subtle way, but really make the car stand out, combined with the GT3 front bumper, compared to a regular 997. The car has dyno'd at 337hp 280tq and feels much quicker than stock. It sounds glorious at high RPM. The project took years to complete and is documented on Rennlist:”

Michael,
Your build thread on Rennlist is impressive! Your PM mailbox is full.
How much would it cost to import the car to the United States? I am in Miami Florida.
@richie2gun Hahaha…best comment yet!

I AM 80 YRS OLD, IN THE RECENT PAST, I HAVE BEEN THROUGH A TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY AND A STROKE. I HAVE PROMISED MY KIDS THAT I WILL NOT DRIVE. @Doorman Thanks!
This is almost exactly the build I would do. Unfortunately for me it's a original Canadian car. Good luck with the sale.

@wookinpanub Thanks!
No rubbing in corners. There are no error lights on the dash and all factory air bags are functional, with the exception of the front seat air bags that are part of the factory seats that have been replaced with Recaro Pole Position ABEs and the RAID steering, wheel includes an air bag (non-factory) and is functioning without any issues or errors.
The factory sunroof has been deleted, so that is no longer available, as well as the factory Bose subwoofer.
great build, any rubbing in corners? all factory options, airbags etc still functional with no idiot lights?
Bid in the amount of $29,135
Significant weight savings (around 200 pounds) has been achieved through the RWD conversion (and removal of associated components), sunroof delete, RECARO Pole Position seats, subwoofer removal, fiberglass decklid, and Breyton GTRS-PF lightweight forged wheels.
The addition of the roll cage adds a bit of that weight back but also adds significant stiffness to the chassis.
Bid in the amount of $28,885
The car also has AWE headers and exhaust with high flow cats which are a big part of the increased power.

@abyram921 oh, and forgot to add the Cargraphic carbon wide front fenders to the list of bodywork. Those were expensive! Lol. But made a huge impact on the aggressive look of the car a bring the wide stance more even with the 4s rear. Also allowed running 19x10 wheels up front with a 265 tire.
I’ll post pics of the fenders in a second
@abyram921 I just uploaded a bunch of pics from the body shop along with a pic of the gt3 bumper

@abyram921 Thank you!
Yes, all OEM Porsche parts were used for the front and rear bumpers.
I don’t have receipts for the bodywork.
Bodywork included:
Front OEM GT3 RS 997.2 bumper cover with Porsche Cup car lower lip, including oem hardware and grills, etc.
Rear OEM 997.2 C4s rear bumper cover modified with bumperette delete
997.2 OEM clear taillights
Sunroof delete with GT3 alcantara headliner
New windshield
Full repaint to Porsche Lizard green paint
Custom fiberglass decklid
The total cost of all of all bodywork accounted for the largest and expense of the project.
Full body PPF with 10 year warranty was done to protect the car once the paint and polish was completed. Receipt for the PPF will be provided.
Let me know if you have any further questions
Thanks
Great build. Did you use OEM Porsche parts the front bumper and rear boot? I didn't see any of the bodywork in the provided receipts.
Beautiful build. I'll get things started.
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@HEISMAN Thank you!
I used the Phenix Engineering RWD conversion kit. Its not a very difficult install, but you need the kit to ensure that the ABS continues to function properly after removal of the parts. The torque tube, front differential / Viscous Coupling and two half shafts with 2 CV joints each are all removed, saving well over a hundred pounds!
The result is a car that feels even more direct in the steering and the car feels a bit more agile in certain situations with the RWD.
I have also added a Quaife ATB LSD so there is no lack of traction at the rear with the 325/30/19 tires.
Hi there! Can you tell us more about the conversion to RWD? What is the process of removing the front wheel drive components? Looks like a wonderful build! GLWS
@BicycleManKent thanks! The color is definitely amazing in person!
@SJH1985 thank you!
Proper Build, someone will be very happy with this one, GLWS!
Beautiful car, my favorite color
