Finished in Black over a Black and Stone Grey leather interior, this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet is equipped with a 6-speed manual transaxle paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It was sold new in Houston, Texas, at an original sticker price of over $129k including Porsche Ceramic Campsie Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport Exhaust System, the Carbon Package, extended leather upholstery, heated Adaptive Sport Seats, Porsche-crested headrests, silver seatbelts, a carbon fiber multifunction steering wheel, illuminated carbon fiber door sills, a Sport Shifter, Parking Assist System, Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, 19” Carrera Sport wheels, and more. Showing just over 20k miles on the odometer, this highly optioned 997 Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Missouri.
This 997 is finished in Black with a matching power-operated convertible soft top. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, auto-dimming power mirrors, parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad Sport Exhaust tailpipes, and yellow ceramic brake calipers. The car rides on optional 19” Carrera Sport wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2023. The seller notes some paint was damaged when an older layer of paint protection film was removed from the front end, and the hood and front fenders were refinished as a result. The clear factory-applied stone guards on the rear quarter panels show some discoloration and cracking from age. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black and Stone Grey leather interior features optional Carbon Package trim, heated Adaptive Sport Seats, Porsche-crested headrests, silver seatbelts, and extended leather upholstery on the seatbacks, steering column casing, and rear center console. Other options include door finishers and illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with carbon fiber trim, a Sport Shifter, an aluminum footrest, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, Bose High-End Sound Package, and a navigation module for Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The seller notes the carbon fiber trim has separated from the center cupholder cover on the dashboard.
Featuring integrated dry sump lubrication, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and a 2-stage resonance induction system, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and stopping power comes from optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). The car is also equipped with the optional Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The seller indicates that the original maintenance booklet shows dealer service stamps from 2007 until 2012. The CARFAX report shows the most recent service was completed in May 2025.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

@SofiaLeo The paint on the hood and fenders was damaged removing the old paint protection film from the front end, and needed to be refinished as a result.
@MCI is the paint on the car all 100% original or has the car had any paint work?
Thank you for the explanation PCARMARKET. I meant no negativity only offering information.
@mgatepi your comment was removed because the cost of maintaining these cars are obvious and can easily be obtained by potential buyers. We are not going to allow any negative comments on the sellers listing as it is unfair to the seller.
@CarreraX The carbon trim in the center of the cup holder cover delaminated and is missing. I don't see other parts delaminating. I have check the rotors for any nicks/ chips and there are none. I don't know if any of the rubber hoses have been replaced. The top works with out hesitation and there are no signs of leaking. Thanks for the questions and keep them coming so you can bid with confidence:)

Sorry for the partial comment below. And I agree on the options!! I had a 996 with the full carbon interior similar to this one. I had issues with delamination of the carbon on the steering wheel and dash parts. Do you have any delamination areas on the carbon? Also, I love the PCCB's but would like to confirm that there aren't any nicks or small chips on the outside edges of the rotors?
My only real other concern (although not huge on a 20k car) is if any of the rubber hoses have been replaced? There are a bunch on these cars and just curious. Last dumb question, I had to replace the hydraulic top cylinders on a friends 996 convertible as they started leaking. Not a real difficult job but just asking if you have seen any leakage or delay in top operation? This looks like an awesome car! Have a friend interested and he wanted me to ask you with any concerns I have. Thanks in advance!! GLWS!
@CarreraX This would be "nicely" optioned for a Turbo;) Let's hear those concerns, I've got 4hrs left to address them.
This is a very nicely optioned car! I do have a few concerns tha

@Seller Thank You for answering my questions so graciously and completely. Kudos!
I apologize for asking about the heat on sport seats: I’m usually a more diligent interlocutor.
This is a Very Comely car with most of the options I would wish.
I will watch this auction carefully.
Kind Regards,
David

@TKAD Thanks for the first question, I wish I had a stack of records to offer along with it. The only records I have are stamped in the maintenance manual and the last one was in 2012. I will upload them to the gallery shortly.
