The BMW Z4 M Coupe was launched at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, featuring a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine from the E46 M3, a 6-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, an M3 CSL steering rack, and M3 Competition brakes. Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black Nappa leather interior, this 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe is one of 1,815 examples produced for North America. The car was registered in Texas before being moved to Iowa in 2017 and was purchased by the current owner in 2019, following a pre-purchase inspection conducted at a local BMW dealership. Showing approximately 64k miles on the odometer, this Z4 M Coupe is now being offered for auction out of New York.
The M Coupe features unique front and rear bumpers compared to a standard Z4, along with a more aggressive sculpted hood and twin dual M-branded exhaust tips. This example is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic with aftermarket black-painted Apex wheels. The original 18” Style 224M alloy wheels are included in the sale. The car features black-painted front kidney grilles, fender roundels, auto-levelling xenon headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, a tow hook license plate mount, and a stubby antenna. The seller states that a mudflap from another vehicle struck the car while they were driving, causing scratches to the hood that were professionally repaired. The associated insurance repair claim resulted in the minor damage reported on CARFAX in 2021.
The black Nappa leather interior features leather carbon structure trim, an Anthracite headliner, power-adjustable M Sport seats with driver memory, an M Sport multifunction sport steering wheel, M-branded door sills and floor mats, an M gear knob, and M-specific instrumentation. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, and a 10-speaker sound system with an AM/FM/CD stereo. The seller notes that aftermarket LED interior lights have been installed, and the driver’s side cupholder is inoperable and needs to be replaced.
Featuring Double-VANOS variable valve timing and six individual throttle bodies, the 3.2-liter DOHC S54 inline-six engine delivers up to 330 HP and 262 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Z4 M Coupe shares its cross-drilled floating brake rotors and quick-ratio hydraulic steering rack with the M3 CSL, its brake calipers with the M3 Competition, its rear subframe with the M3, and its lower front control arms with the E46 Performance Package (ZHP). The seller indicates all service records are available up until 2023, and there are no outstanding mechanical issues to be addressed.
This sale will include the original 18” wheels, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, sales literature, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “For sale is my beloved 2007 BMW M Coupe—an iconic, rare, and meticulously maintained example of BMW’s ultimate driver’s car. In great condition and garage-kept its entire life, this M Coupe represents everything enthusiasts love about the brand: raw performance, timeless design, and an unmatched driving experience. I purchased this car after flying out to Iowa and having it thoroughly inspected by a BMW dealership near Des Moines to ensure it was exactly as described—and it absolutely was. Since then, it has remained in excellent condition, only coming off the road recently due to a family move. A minor incident involving a mud flap scuffing the hood resulted in a professional, insurance-backed repaint, ensuring complete transparency and certified quality work. The front grille has been custom-painted black for a more aggressive appearance, and the car rides on stunning all-black APEX wheels. Additional tasteful exterior mods include an offset license plate holder and a stubby antenna. Best of all, I still have the original parts, ready to go back on if desired. I truly love this car—it’s one of the most engaging and visceral machines I’ve ever owned. But with a growing family and shifting priorities, the time has come to pass it on to someone who will appreciate and drive it the way it deserves. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind M Coupe that’s been cared for with passion and precision, this is the one.”

@SkyWerk yes let me do that for you tonight
@kashammi yes I will add then tonight. They are in great condition.
@kashammi hi great question. The car has been off the road, but the car has been started every 2 weeks and driven. Fuel has been swapped out each year and stabilized during the winter. The battery has been disconnected or kept on a trickle charger. So it gets the same routine as when it was on the road. As you can see i did not put many miles on the car as it was only driven in spring and summer. It was always off the road from November until May while it was on the road.
Can you add pictures to show the condition of the original 18” wheels?
Can you please clarify the registration and safety inspection stickers from 6/2023? Has the car not been driven in almost 2 years? Has there been any basic maintenance done in that time?
Anyway to get photos of the undercarriage?

@stokes620 asking because factory m mats are now unobtainable. The look like nice aftermarket alternatives.
@chris_l_waller came with the car when I bought it.
Beautiful coupe. Where did you find the M floormats?
@stokes620 thanks for the transparency

@SkyWerk there is a photo showing two small rock chips
@SkyWerk sure. Give me a few hours
Can you please take detail close up pictures of any dings, chips, scrapes and scratches?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@SkyWerk thank you for the inquiry. After my last service of the vehicle my mechanic told me he did not think it was necessary to be done at that time. Somewhere around 56k miles. With that said the answer is no, they have not been serviced yet.
Has the rod bearings and vanos issues been addressed on the s54?
