Built on a venerable Freightliner Columbia CL120 chassis, this 2006 Renegade tandem-axle motorhome measures 43 feet in length and is powered by a 12.8-liter Mercedes-Benz inline-six engine connected to a 12-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Designed for comfort and long-distance travel, it features slide-outs extending the living room, bedroom, and kitchen areas for ample space. Amenities include a dinette, full bathroom, generous storage compartments, overhead lighting, ceramic tile and carpeted flooring, Corian countertops, three flat-screen televisions, a full sound system, dual air conditioning units, a Cummins Onan QD 10,000-watt generator, and much more. Showing approximately 95k miles on the odometer, this well-appointed RV is now being offered for auction out of New York.
The Freightliner chassis is renowned for its durable and versatile construction. The Renegade motorhome is finished in white, complemented by chrome accents, stainless-steel lower belly-boxes, black window trim, and polished 22.5” Alcoa aluminum wheels. Exterior equipment includes a side-entry door, integrated slide-outs with awnings, full-length side mirrors, roof-mounted clearance lights, and a rear access ladder. Locking storage compartments line the lower body, and the tandem rear axle configuration supports heavy-duty hauling and towing capability. The truck is equipped with Dayton 295/75R22.5 front tires and recently installed Continental 295/75R22.5 rear tires. A crack is noted in the lens of the right rear marker light. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features tan adjustable and swiveling captain’s chairs and a driver-focused layout with a suite of gauges and control switches. Amenities include a wood-trimmed steering wheel, cupholders, black carpeting, woodgrain dash accents, and overhead storage compartments, with controls for lighting, climate, and auxiliary systems. Moving into the living space, the interior is configured with a 6' living room slide-out, 7' bedroom slide-out, and 12' kitchen slide-out. Features include a dinette, a full bathroom with a shower, generous storage throughout, and a combination of ceramic tile and carpeted flooring. Corian countertops complement the kitchen area, which is equipped with a stainless refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cabinetry. Additional amenities include three flat-screen televisions, a full sound system, dual air conditioning units, and a newly installed Cummins Onan QD 10,000-watt generator with only 335 operating hours. Accessories include coat hooks, mirrors, overhead lighting, and multiple seating areas.
Power comes from a 12.8-liter Mercedes-Benz inline-six engine rated at 450 HP and 1,650 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 12-speed automatic transmission. This Renegade measures 43 feet in overall length and features a rare tandem rear axle configuration. The seller states the engine oil and filter were changed just prior to a recent cross-country trip, and no outstanding maintenance items have been reported.
This sale will include hoses to service black and grey tanks, a barbecue stored in the belly boxes, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a truly high-end rig, built on the ultra-durable Freightliner chassis. It’s rare to see motorhomes of this size equipped with dual rear axles—an expensive and highly sought-after upgrade that significantly improves stability and load capacity. Another standout feature is its minimal use and exceptionally low mileage. One of the biggest advantages - and something highly valued in both the trucking and RV communities - is that this unit is powered by a pre-DEF engine!!! That means no emissions systems and none of the costly maintenance or reliability issues associated with modern DEF setups.”

this powertrain and chassis is the same as a line haul semi rig. they are 1,000,000 miles chassis and powertrains. not without plenty of maintenance, but this is the usage they are engineered for.

@1974Bronco with commercial type chassis things like brakes go by percentage of material. the brake shoes are at 70-75% more importantly please refer to the long explanation of the long trip(3620 miles) through the rocky mountains with the coach trailer and two collector cars in it. speed limits for many of those miles were 80mph. down 6 and even 7% percent grades! no brake fading and no brake material smell. this is another reason why a tandem coach is better than a single axle or tag axle. more braking power less wear. P.S. this coach also has a jake brake (engine retarder) for extra braking power!! i never even neede it once. i had been driving and managing these types of units cross country since 1973. hope this info helps.

@1974Bronco Cannot tell you on the slide out seals, but i can tell you NOTHING leaks in the coach. 2,000 of the 3,620 miles on the trip was pouring rain
@letsrenn look at photo 24. that hitch is as heavy duty as they come. these front engine coaches can tow more than the pusher style. that can tow 30k. notice also the glad hand air line attachment for a air brake and or air ride trailer. this coach has it all.
@1974Bronco coaches with rear engine/transmission are usually tag axle because of space constaints due to the engine/ transmission location(the tag axle is only single wheel per side not dual wheel per side) the front mounted semi chassis do not have those space constraints. for anyone planning on any towing the front engine tows better due to less weight at the junction point between coach and trailer. with a tandem you get more braking due to two more wheels. on a semi when a tag is specified it is always as a dual wheel hope all this info helps all watching
@1974Bronco just drove it from nevada to arkansa to sth carolina to long island 3620 miles 41/2 days! with a 24ft tag trailer( that i also own) with 2 cars in the trailer! it hauled ***** at 80-mph out west. 6.8 mpg. would be much higher without the trailer and 2 cars and running fast. it ran flawlessly!!! jump in it right now and go anywhere in the u.s.a. you want. service intervals on these units are not like cars. i have been in the diesel transport industry since 1973. space does not allow for all the explanations. you can private message me for a lengthy conversation. very simple to 95 sth then 85 sth at richmond va

So the rear axle is not a tag?
Also I had a Prevost 2002 Detroit 60 got around 7.5-8 mpg. What’s this get. Mine had tag.
Original seals on pull outs?
Got a book of service records?
Any reason I can’t fLY up from Atlanta and drive it back? Pretty simple getting to 95S ?
Bid in the amount of $28,000
What is the towing capacity?
@1974Bronco slide outs work perfectly, that is why we posted a video for each one in and out. rear tires(8)c were replaced in 2024.
yes they are. full tandem axle with brakes. you will never run out of brakes! vehicle is now on long island ny. it spent most of life in nevada. it has never seen snow or salt.
Hi, very nicely kept rig, judging by the many photos. My question is, are both rear axles driven?
Where is the vehicle located?
@1974Bronco that last question was just answered for you. i forgot to hit the reply button
12,000 hours is what it had when the new unit went in. that meter and generator starter is in the coach. the other meter is the one on the generator itself showing the hours on the new unit.
One meter reading states 12000 hr the other 335 in pictures both Onan. Sure I’m missing something but please clear up. 06 with 335 generator hrs very low, replacement ?
Any service records, any issues with pull outs over time. Are seals original.
Date code on tires.
Sorry see replacement info on generator. Inverters original.

@DevonMax2025Luna2025 yes it does have a back up camera
@Davidmcd2018 The DEF unit I mentioned is our race rig which is a tractor trailer setup for hauling our race cars and race equipment. Different type of rig altogether. I just mention it in comparison as the later emmisions systems are a headache to live with.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Does it have a backup camera?
Why are you selling this unit opposed to the def unit you have that has caused you so much expense?

those a/s units are the low profile type. P.S. I CANNOT OVER DRAMATIZE THE VALUE OF THIS BEING A LOW EMMISSION NON DEF POWERTRAIN. we have a 2015 that we use for our race team and this season alone we spent over$23,000 on the emission systems alone!!! i have those receipts to prove it! to get a LOW MILEAGE non def unit is a prize.
2 rooftop a/c units plus 2 fantastic (the brand) roof exhaust fans. the 10k onan generator puts out 83.3 amp on 120 volt according to onan spec sheet. the levelling system is a 4 post hydraulic system as used on all expensive coaches. the controls are in the cab above the drivers door. the brand is equalizer systems the model is autolevel with manual override. the mattress is 7foot by 5 foot wide.
How many ac s. How large is the bed wide length.is the generator providing 50 amp? What kind of leveling system does it have.
Bid in the amount of $10,500
the rear facing bed room slide rather than a side slide is a nice feature. reason is the coach is 45 ft instead of 43 ft only when you need it to be. we also forgot to mention that this coach has the 4 post hydraulic levelling system so when you are parked on uneven ground you can level out the coach. one more thing we forgot to mention, the coach has the outside barbeque griller that slides out of the belly box! there is not much missing from this big boy! i will post more as i remember.
Bid in the amount of $9,999
Hello everyone, and welcome to the auction.
We recently completed a cross-country trip with this rig, towing a trailer to pick up several vehicles. I’ve owned many rigs over the years, Toters and Race-Rigs alike, and I have to say - I’m genuinely impressed with how well this one performs. It takes bumps like a car, rides incredibly solid, and has absolutely no rattles.
There’s a lot to cover with a rig of this caliber, so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions throughout the week. We’ve provided a wide array of photos and videos for your review, but if you're located far away, you're more than welcome to arrange a third-party pre-purchase inspection (PPI) during the auction.
Thanks for looking, and good luck to all bidders!
