This 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe wears a Satin Silver Metallic vinyl wrap over Black paint and a matching black full leather interior. The car was sold at an original sticker price of over $101k including a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High-End Sound Package, heated power seats, and self-dimming mirrors. This 997 underwent a custom 4.0-liter engine rebuild before the current owner’s purchase in 2021 and has since been modified with an OEM Aerokit front bumper, Turbo S side skirts, EMC2 rear skirts, 991 headlights, LED daytime running lights, Speed Yellow seatbelts, a Porsche Classic (PCCM+) head unit, BC coilovers, and 19” BBS CHR wheels in brushed aluminum. Showing approximately 88k miles on the odometer, this 4.0-powered Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This 997 features a Satin Silver Metallic vinyl wrap over its Black-painted exterior. It has been modified with an OEM Aerokit front bumper, custom-fitted 991 Turbo S side skirts, EMC2 rear skirts, 991 headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, OEM clear side marker lenses, and Turbonite emblems. Other equipment includes an electric sunroof, auto-dimming power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and aftermarket 19” BBS CHR wheels in brushed aluminum. The Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires were mounted less than 1k miles ago. The seller notes ceramic window tint has been installed, and the rubber seals have been recently replaced around the doors and windows. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black full leather interior includes optional heated and power-adjustable seats, Speed Yellow seatbelts, a three-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons, automatic climate control, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and an updated Porsche Classic (PCCM+) head unit with Apple CarPlay. The seller notes warning lights are present on the dashboard for the rear fog light and headlamps, which require coding to be disabled.
The car’s original 3.8-liter flat-six engine was rebuilt and upgraded to a 4.0-liter displacement under previous ownership at 66k miles. It delivers power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The car is equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and aftermarket BC coilovers with a PASM module. The seller notes an oil change was completed in January 2025 within the last 500 miles.
This sale will include a window sticker, a toolkit, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Here is a chance to own a 1 of a kind car that I put a great deal of time and work into. I had no intentions of selling when doing all the work on this car. A great deal of attention to detail was done to this car, and many parts that showed the car's age and wear have been replaced. The 4.0 motor on this car makes it a blast to drive. No costs have been spared in getting the car to what it is today, and it truly is an eye-catching and fun car to own.”

Coming up on the final hours of this Auction. I will be live here to answer any questions. This car has a binder of service records. I never intended to sell the car so I personally went above and beyond replacing buttons/rubber moldings/misc items that many may overlook. A great amount of attention to detail was taking in getting the car to show as it does today. The car is a show stopper in person and such a blast to drive.
Good luck to all bidders.

The motor has a 4.0 build that addresses all bore scoring issues.
When were the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) last replaced? Also, has it been scoped for bore scoring?
@Mikepadin shame. Thanks for the quick response.
@Johnvt11111 Hi John, I do not having a driving video of the car. I can assure you the car drives amazing! No steering wheel vibrations etc. The factory exhaust sounds great when opened up and tame under normal driving conditions.

@GT34me All exhaust components are factory and unmodified. I am not familiar with smog requirements for California.
Any idea, Will this car pass smog in California?
@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR Thank You for your instantaneous response. Appreciated.
The location has been updated.
@Havenhearth Hello, thank you for pointing this out. The vehicle is currently being showcased at our headquarters in Oyster Bay, NY but the vehicle is titled in New Jersey.
@Pcarmarket: If this car is for sale in New Jersey, why does the listing state its location as Oyster Bay, NY?
Clarification would be helpful for reasons I hope I do not need to state. My aim is to avoid detracting from this car in any way.
Thank you,
David
