Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black full leather interior, this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine paired with the optional X50 Turbo Powerkit and a 6-speed manual transaxle. It was configured at an original sticker price of over $155k, including optional aluminum trim pieces and instrument dials, an aluminum-trimmed three-spoke steering wheel, heated supple leather seats, adjustable lumbar support, stainless-steel exhaust pipes, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid, and painted front air intakes. Purchased by the current owner in 2007 with under 1k miles driven from new, this X50-equipped Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Illinois with approximately 70k miles showing on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic bodywork includes a power-operated black convertible top, wide fenders with side air intakes, model-specific bumpers, side skirts, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Other equipment includes optional painted front air intakes, bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, optional stainless-steel exhaust pipes, red brake calipers, and 18” GT3 wheels. An additional set of factory 18” alloy wheels is included in the sale along with the factory hard top. The driver’s side door is said to have been previously refinished to address scratches. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor rear-end damage in 2013, very minor damage to the right front in 2016, and minor damage to the left side in 2019.
The cabin showcases Black full leather upholstery complemented by optional aluminum instrument dials and trim pieces. Amenities include optional heated and power-adjustable supple leather seats with adjustable lumbar support, a three-spoke leather steering wheel with aluminum-look trim, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a Bose sound system, and a remote CD changer.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine features the optional X50 Turbo Powerkit, adding larger K24 turbochargers, intercoolers, a quad-pipe exhaust system, and revised ECU programming for an output of 450 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and stopping power is provided by fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled 13” discs at each corner. The seller indicates that routine maintenance has been kept up to date, mainly at Porsche dealerships, and corresponding service records are available. The CARFAX report shows that a 10k-mile interval service was completed by Napleton Westmont Porsche in April 2025.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, an additional set of 18” wheels, the factory hard top, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very well taken care of 911 Turbo. Maintenance was done on time by the dealer. Exterior and interior in excellent condition.”

Has the ABS been repaired. Kind of rare but VERY expensive since the ABS unit must be rebuilt the OEMs dont exist and when they did they were about 5k if my memory is correct.rt54w23eq?

This is a lovely car and as the owner of an '04 turbo tiptronic I can assure you it is a blast to drive. It appears to be a total repaint and I'm curious as to the quality of the finish. Really hard to tell from the pictures.

Hi PNWwash I talked with the owner. There was a dent on the RF fender lip caused by moving a motorcycle in the garage and bumping it. The rear bumper was bumped by a lady at a stop light. The owner took the car to a body shop where it just needed a little buffing, no paintwork cwsconsulting

One of the dents was from a golf ball. What can you tell us about any other damage the car sustained?

@cwsconsulting Do you know the mileage on clutch work. What about spoiler rams?
Hi BrowneLaw Look at the car fax to get some maintenance history One of the dents was from a golf ball. cwsconsulting
Hi atdds The top is in good condition The clutch, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder have been replaced cwsconsulting
Very nice. Has the clutch been replaced? I also wondered about the spoiler rams and soft top condition. Are those just bird droppings on it or damage? Thank you
And do you have any photos of the different minor damage incidents noted in the listing?
Can you please post the maintenance records individually or provide a list of the highlights with dates/mileage? Has the water pump ever been changed? Any suspension components changed?
Can you also post videos of the top opening and closing and of the spoiler rams functioning?
Thanks
