Increasingly sought after by collectors and driving enthusiasts alike, the E46 generation BMW M3 combines modern performance with an analog feel and traditional BMW build quality. This 2004 M3 Coupe is finished in Silver Grey Metallic and features a 6-speed manual transmission conversion of the original SMG gearbox completed under current ownership. A lifelong West Coast car, this M3 was sold new in California and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Nevada showing approximately 55k miles on the odometer.
This E46 Coupe is finished in Silver Grey Metallic with M3-specific bumpers, side skirts, a rear lip spoiler, vented front fenders, and quad exhaust tips. Other factory equipment includes LED taillights, fog lights, a sunroof, xenon headlamps, rear Park Distance Control sensors, and 19” Style 67 M double-spoke wheels. The car rides on a mixed set of Toyo and Yokohama tires and the seller notes some dings on the passenger side of the car as well as some imperfections in the clear coat. The front bumper was previously refinished and a full paint correction was recently completed. Detailed images ar provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features power-adjustable and heated Nappa leather seats, brushed aluminum shadow trim, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. Other details include an M3 steering wheel, a black leather M shift knob, M3-specific instrumentation, and M3 logo door sills. The driver is also provided with automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, a navigation system, and multifunction steering wheel controls. The seller notes the cruise control feature is inoperable.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing, individual throttle bodies, and an output of up to 333 HP and 262 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission that was converted from the original factory SMG gearbox under current ownership. A Magnaflow exhaust system has also been installed along with a K&N air filter. The seller adds that the fluids were exchanged in April 2022.

@Jimbo85281 big 3 has not been done. Haven’t had any problems, subframe is not cracked.
Any major maintenance on the big three?
@avusm3 yes it works as if factory installed, using all oem parts.
Does the 6 spd conversion work as if installed at the factory? Any issues with it?
