Available for auction is an official McLaren dealership sign, stated by the seller to have been removed in 2021 during a showroom remodel. Measuring an impressive 9 feet in length, 2 feet in height, and just under 5 inches in depth, this iconic piece has been meticulously cared for and remains in outstanding condition.
The internal illumination has been recently upgraded with professional-grade LED lighting, making it fully functional and suitable for display indoors or outdoors. Yes, DHL gets to USA in 3 days vs FedEx in at least 2 weeks.
@brg41 Good afternoon, thank you for the message. I have tried to get prices in the past with DHL and they were always close to FedEx but just a little more. I do wonder if things have changed since and I will certainly make enquiries. They are most certainly very efficient with deliveries taking only 3 days on occasions which is very impressive.

I have imported few signs from Europe and DHL is faster and cheaper than FedEx.

The shipping cost is estimated to be around $1,000 with FedEx as they are the most competitive I have found. However, the price does fluctuate daily by small increments usually (up and down).
In addition to the shipping itself, a bespoke wooden crate will also be required. The crate cost is $500 exactly.
In terms of additional costs (such as tariffs and duties), the USA has just agreed to a UK trade agreement which is almost complete and as far as I have been able to ascertain, it looks like the the tariff rate is either 6% or 10% of the declared value. The reason for the uncertainty regarding the exact rate is based on the Harmonisation Code that would be used when shipping the sign as it may be possible to pay less based on the nature and previous usage of the item.
