Representing the original water-cooled Porsche 911, this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe is presented in Rainforest Green Metallic over a Black full leather interior. It came factory-equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, 18” Turbo-Look wheels, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and the Hi-Fi Sound Package. Supported by a well-documented service history including an upgraded IMS bearing, this Carrera is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 59k miles showing on the odometer.
This Carrera Coupe is finished in the rarely seen color of Rainforest Green Metallic (2A2) and rides on optional 18” Turbo-Look light alloy wheels. Other equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, an electric sunroof, Porsche-branded alloy brake calipers, and headlamps with integrated fog lights. New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were mounted in 2020 at 54k miles. The seller describes the car’s exterior as in excellent condition for its age and mileage and notes some paintwork was performed on the left rear quarter panel to repair minor damage. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing the minor damage in 2015.
Inside, this 996 features a premium Black full leather interior with power-adjustable front seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, and a matching Alcantara headliner. Accessories include power one-touch windows, power heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, Carrera-logo door sills, folding rear seatbacks, coco floor mats, and a JVC Bluetooth head unit. All accessories and electronics are said to be fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. A collection of service records accompanies the sale including an invoice showing an upgraded dual-row LN Engineering IMS bearing installed in 2021 at 55k miles. Other previous maintenance includes replacements of the spark plugs, coil packs, rear main seal, clutch kit, and water pump. An oil change was also completed in April 2024 at 58k miles.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

Low miles, great color, full leather (this makes a huge difference in interior quality) and IMSB done, even at the buy-now price it's a good deal. I have a similar 2000 and probably wouldn't let it go for $34k

@motofabio - absolutely no smells of any kind.
It has the scent of Porsche leather.
I know this is a subjective question, but can the seller confirm there isn’t a weird smell in the interior? Cigarettes, stale/mold, overuse of a cleaner, anything like that?

@SVTJayC - everything is functioning properly.
Tires have about 4k (easy) miles - tread left is close to 90 percent (you can see some of them on the underside pictures).
I have not looked at the brake pads - pedal is perfect.
Clutch was done in 2014 at just under 49k miles due to the IMS labor - has 9k miles on it.
No heated seats.
This 911 runs and drives flawlessly - there are no outstanding issues or needs that I am aware of.
Also, could you get a close up photo of the LN Engineering Retrofit sticker? Thank you.
How is the A/C? Stereo (all speakers work?), tire tread, brake pad life, clutch life? Windows/Lights/seat heaters etc?

Paint work was only on the left rear quarter panel.

On a lark maybe 10 or 12 years ago I bought the twin to this car—same year, same color, and mostly identical spec (mine has Natural interior and OE BBS mesh 18s). No matter what else I buy or how much I spend, it’s honestly never as happy and good all around as that bog-simple, puppy-eager, bargain-basement, elegant-green 996. Whoever buys this, prepare to be shocked at how much you enjoy it.
