This 996 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and equipped with integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on 18” 911 Turbo-look wheels dressed in new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The seller notes that the exterior is in excellent condition, having undergone a recent three-stage paint correction process. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black standard leather interior includes heated 8-way power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, a leather four-spoke steering wheel, and optional carbon fiber trim for the gear knob and parking brake lever. The car also features a central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo. Some minor discoloration is noted on the steering wheel.
Factory-rated at 296 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Under the seller’s care, a new LN Engineering IMS bearing was installed along with a new rear main seal, battery, coolant reservoir, hood & decklid shocks, and an oil and filter change.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This 2000 911 Carrera offers a time-capsule-like experience that transports you back to the year 2000 when this car was brand new. Prickly Pear Auto Club has gone above and beyond in reconditioning this beautiful car. Of course, we had the IMS bearing replaced/upgraded, along with a new RMS, new battery, new coolant reservoir, new hood and decklid shocks, a fresh oil change, and brand-new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on all four corners. To finish it off, we also had a 3-step paint correction performed on the car, bringing its finish to year 2000 showroom condition. With all that we've done to it, and the exceptionally low mileage, this vehicle is in collector's grade condition.”

That's why I clearly featured them in the photos, so all could see. Since I made it a point to feature them, if they were bubbles I obviously would've disclosed that. They're very minor pits/chips and require focusing on themin person in order to really see them. The finish of the car is incredible.
@Magicalmachine Thsoe are not bubbles. they are pits/chips in the paint that have been touched up as best as possible by our detail team. There are no bubbles on the car.

Hi, In reference to the LN bearing update, there should be a sticker with a serial number that LN will use to date code. Would you be able to provide that serial number? Thanks!

@Mithril911 It's RWD. Thanks for the compliment! That car is incredible.
Hello @PricklyPearAutoClub I'm apologizing in advance as I did not watch the video... RWD or AWD? Great looking vehicle.
@Joylakey Thank you! I don't see any cosmetic bubbling on the under carried in pic 159 as you state. I think you're mistaking road grime or something else. There is no rust on this car what-so-ever and no cosmetic bubbling what-so-ever.
There is no record that the AOS has ever been changed, so I would assume it has not been.
Hi, beautiful example you got there. A question on rust, I’m seeing some cosmetic bubbling on the under carriage. (pic 159), are there other areas of rust to look out for?
Also, has any maintenance been done on the AOS?
Thanks!
@skylane9 This is the process of a 3-step paint correction:

@PricklyPearAutoClub what all was included in the paint correction process?
@skylane9 Alrighty, paint depth readings have been uploaded! All ranging from the 4s to 7s, as is normal. Some variations in thickness may also occur from the paint correction that was done on the car, where more polishing may have been needed than in other areas. :)
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@skylane9 Sure thing. I'll get that uploaded later today. :)

We have 3+ days left, is it possible to post paint meter pictures so to see if any prior paint work?
Bid in the amount of $11,000
@911online While we can’t 100% guarantee that, since we are not located in California and have no way of checking that for you, I would most certainly imagine that it would pass. All of the I/M Readiness in the OBD2 are “Ready”. There are no “Not Ready” items. I would imagine it would pass any smog or safety inspection in the nation.👍🏼
Will this car pass California smog inspection.

Hi, folks!
Just chiming in here to say hi and to mention a few things!
As you can see in the “Seller would like you to know” section of this listing, we have reconditioned this 911 to an absolutely beautiful and fantastic state! Super low mileage for the year, and all the proper maintenance done during our inventory of the car. This beaut is ready to go for many, many years to come. She’s absolutely gorgeous and drives just the same. She’s near perfect, and as a huge 996 fan myself, I’m absolutely smitten with this one. Especially being that it’s a bare-bones, early 996.1. There are no fancy frills with this one. This is like what a 911T of today is all about. The pure driving experience, with no interruptions and no gadgetry.😙🤌🏼
We can also arrange shipping for the buyer, and at a much better price than you’ll find anywhere else. Also, you’ll be dealing with only me directly, throughout your shipping, not a shipping broker that has no vested interest in your or your car.😄
Please note! If you are a Texas resident and registering the car in Texas, we are required to collect the sales tax from you and also register the vehicle for you, as I’m sure you fellow Texas folk already know.😊
Thank you, guys!
@skylane9 Hello! That's a good question. No, I don't think it would do more harm to have those areas completely refinished. We have an excellent team that could refinish those areas with superb results. We did discuss doing this to the car, however, we chose not to due to the originality of the car and the fact that the blemishes were very minor. Truly, in person, they're not immediately apparent. You will only see them upon a focused inspection of the car. Otherwise, the finish is absolutely incredible.
Unfortunately we do not have a lift readily available to us, so that would be tough to do. I can tell you, though, that the car is in absolutely stellar condition. There are no funny smells, sounds, vibrations, feelings, and absolutely ZERO drops of any kind of fluid coming from the car. Also, when we had our Porsche specialist mechanic perform the work we listed here, he went over the entire car and gave it a full, clean bill of health.
PCarMarket is going to be adding a video of the car to the listing very soon, if it hasn't already been added by now. Do please watch it! :)
Thank you for being transparent showing paint damage on drivers fender and the scratches on the car. Do you think it would do more harm to have it touched up? Also is it possible to put it up on a lift for some detailed undercarriage pictures?
