Among the most highly regarded variants of the final air-cooled 911, this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a Cashmere and Black leather interior. Initially delivered at Brookfield Motor Car Company in Wisconsin, this example was factory-optioned with a “slick top” sunroof delete, hardback Sport Seats, Litronic xenon headlights, M030 Sport Chassis, the Motor Sound Package, and a rear seat delete. Showcasing a combination of rare options, this sought-after 993 is now being offered for auction out of California showing approximately 34k miles on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 993 Carrera, the 4S sports the widened bodywork and bumpers of the 911 Turbo. Specified without a sunroof, this example is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (39C) and features optional Litronic xenon headlights. Equipment also includes headlight washers, red brake calipers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and custom air inlets within the front bumper. The 18” 911 Turbo wheels have been fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in preparation for the sale. Front-end paint protection film has been applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is greeted with Cashmere/Black (SG) interior upholstery. Factory options include desirable power-adjustable hardback Sport Seats, a luggage compartment in place of the rear seats, an onboard computer, an AM/FM cassette radio, and black Porsche-branded floor mats. Accessories also encompass VDO instrumentation, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and power-adjustable side mirrors.
Powered by an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine, the 993 Carrera 4S is factory-rated at 282 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The optional M030 Sport Chassis package includes stiffer springs, shock absorbers, and anti-roll bars, while the optional Motor Sound Package adds a louder airbox for a more aggressive engine tone. Additionally, Bilstein suspension components have been installed. Extensive service performed in February 2025 included a clutch kit replacement, 30k major service with new spark plugs, filters, and fluids, installation of a Bilstein adjustable coilover suspension, replacement of valve cover and timing chain cover gaskets, clutch slave cylinder, insulation pad, and oil fill tube, along with mounting and balancing of new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

@gtauto That is certainly the “lore” but my understanding is that the disruption of air flow with the cover removed is actually worse for heat and likely has some aero impact because the air flowing under the car is disturbed.
I believe the trays are available but don’t know for sure

Why were the rear under panels/engine covers removed and are now non-existent?
@gtauto - thank you for confirming there are no brake fluid leaks. any chance you could post some photos of the brake fluid reservoir and the places where these 993 cars commonly leak brake fluid?
for the paint meter readings, would it be possible to please maybe make a video measuring those 3 panels in a few different places, not just one? i'd just want to make sure all 3 panels measure the same in multiple spots, not just one... and video is always helpful to remove any doubts...

@jankoum - We have not noticed any brake fluid leaks. Pic 206, 207 and 208 in the gallery are paint meter readings of the the front fenders and hood where the PPF is.
@gtauto are there any break fluid leaks that you can see?
also, can you please post clear paint meter readings for both front fenders and hood? i always get a bit suspicious when people cover up front end with the PPF so late into the car's life...

Sorry for the multiple posts. Do you know if the wheels are hollow spoke? My recollection is the hollow spoke wheels were optional. The standard wheel is the solid spoke.
