Finished in Black over a matching interior, this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S Coupe was delivered new in Texas featuring a 6-speed manual transaxle, the optional Motor Sound Package, Litronic xenon headlights, and aluminum instrument dials. The car remained in Texas before being imported to British Columbia in 2007 through Ferrari of Vancouver. It has been modified with a Fister Stage 2 exhaust, H&R Street Sport coilovers, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, pepita-trimmed Recaro bucket seats, Turbo S-style fog light inserts, and 18” Tramont Cup 2 RS-style wheels. Acquired by the seller in February 2025, this tastefully enhanced Carrera 4S is now being offered for auction out of Montreal, Canada, with approximately 90k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 993 Carrera, the 4S model features wide fenders, rocker panels, and bumpers from the contemporary 911 Turbo. This example is finished in Black and equipped with optional Litronic xenon headlights, headlamp washers, Turbo S-style fog light inserts, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, red brake calipers, and dual exhaust outlets. The car rides on 18” Tramont Cup 2 RS-style three-piece wheels measuring 8.5” in front and 11” wide at the rear. The seller indicates the full exterior is covered by clear paint protection film and a ceramic coating was applied in March 2025. A minor scratch is noted on the driver’s door beneath the paint protection film as well as a small scratch on the driver’s side rocker panel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a damage-free CARFAX report.
The black interior features custom leather Recaro Pole Position bucket seats with pepita cloth inserts, a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, aftermarket pedal covers, and optional aluminum instrument dials. Other accessories include power windows, a central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Porsche AM/FM/CD stereo. The original four-spoke leather steering wheel and power-operated supple leather front seats are included in the sale.
Equipped with a VarioRam induction system, the air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine was factory-rated at 282 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The car features an aftermarket Fister Stage 2 exhaust, H&R Street Sport coilovers, and the optional Motor Sound Package, which adds a louder airbox for a more aggressive engine tone. Invoices provided by the seller include a service in 2022 with an oil change, a brake fluid flush, a clutch fluid flush, new hood and decklid struts, and new alternator and fan belts.
This sale will include the original seats and steering wheel, owner’s manuals, service records, a toolkit, a spare tire, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a Canadian registration. The CARFAX report indicates a potential odometer discrepancy, likely resulting from the mileage conversion upon import to Canada. The seller confirms that the mileage shown on the car's odometer is accurate.

This is XUS a vehicle and a GERMAN made. 10% tariff. Plus 2.5% duty Only vehicles coming from Canada or Canadian made with 25% tariffs. And Canadian made trucks are 50% 🤦🏼♂️
Bid in the amount of $84,000
I don't see 10 percent anywhere..
@Envypete Do you have a link to this? Because everywhere I'm reading its 25%+ 2.5%
Bid in the amount of $82,000
10% tariffs for vehicles 25 years or older. Plus 2.5% duty
Bid in the amount of $81,250
@Dc206r that’s why I said 28%
Bid in the amount of $81,000
Looking at the previous invoices, it was noted that the engine case through bolts and transmission housing have leaks. Was this addressed at all or left alone?
Side note: The tariff thing is also a huge deterrent if that 25% on top of the 2.5% import tax is required.
Just found out that importing back to the US will cost 28% in import fees on top of Ca DMV fees and shipping. Way more than what I thought it would be 😳
@Gian993 I think it is important to know that there are reciprocal tariffs to be paid on this car for entry into the US. I have checked with my shipping people, I suggest doing the same should you intend to bid. If it had been in Canada 3 years or less, no tariff. This has been in Canada since 2007 so there will be extra fees.
As for the Carfax Error, I assume that they read the odometer thinking it was "65,000 km" (or 40,389 miles) when instead it read "65,000 miles" and they needed to convert that to km. Do you have the document of vehicle inspection from that report on 6/27/2008? If so, I am sure you can get it amended.
Bid in the amount of $80,000
@Suffyk miles
Does the vehicle have 90,184 Miles or KM?
Incredible example, you have great taste…one day…
I know we’re coming down to the wire here but any paint meter readings available? Reckon it’s not possible through the PPF. Those scratches still have me concerned…
@sunking Please see the photos I recently added of the carfax.
Its because the handbrake is on....lol no airbag light because of the momo steering wheel...yes I uploaded pictures from a few weeks apart.
@Einm1 Hey I just added in photos from carfax dated 2013 and another carfax pulled in 2022....I dont understand why the one PCMARKET has different info that the ones supplied to me when I purchased the car.
For tariff info I would suggest contacting a broker locally to guide you but to my knowledge and from others ive heard there is NO tarrif to pay. Also nothing to convert to be US spec.
I'm selling because I have plans to purchase a business and need the liquid...not gonna be easy to find another like this but if the business is successful ill definitely get another one in a few years lol
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
The car is aesthetically pleasing, but the odometer reading discrepancy needs to be addressed. Also, the Central Information Light (the red Exclamation Sign) is on when the engine is on. Is this because the door is open, or because the lack of an airbag that was not coded out?
Also, the mileage between pictures 29 and 31 show an 800-mile difference. Were the pics taken days/ weeks apart?
Need more info on the odometer discrepancy! BIG red flag for me. I am very interested but this is a major concern.
Can you provide documentation to correct the erroneous CarFax information?
And as was mentioned, is there a tarriff on this if its originally a US car that was brought to Canada? Anything needed to convert back to US spec?
Why selling after owning for only a few months?
@LuckyThirteen hey thanks for your concern. I purchased the car with these mods. The ppf was done because I live in montreal and the amount of rocks and horrible roads we have. It wasn't to hide any imperfections but to further protect the paint and stop any future scratches. To repair those I would've had to paint the the complete side of the car, which in my opinion for a 3inch scratch wasn't justifiable. The car really is phenomenal and it proves it when seeing for your own eyes.
This car looks phenomenal and I’m keen to bid but something just doesn’t sit right with me. Why on earth would you spend the money for tasteful mods and upkeep but PPF over scratches? Why were they not repaired before applying PPF? This is so bizarre to me it makes me reluctant to bid because there must be more than just a simple scratch to avoid repairing it before PPF. Really hoping for a compelling answer from the seller but this is a major red flag for me.
Bid in the amount of $75,000
No discussion of the odometer rollback?
If this car in Canada, any idea if conversion to US is needed? I assume not. Tariff?
Insane
@RBeal Hi sorry missed that question...so its not rust or bubble. It was a minor scratch touched up with touch up paint prior to doing the ppf. It looks bubbled but it is just the ppf that makes it look more than what it actually is.
TO further a comment from below, any insight on what appears to be a rust/corrosion bubble on the (I'm guessing) rocker? Any intel from previous owner or was this fixed by seller?
@tommeron Hi to my knowledge after doing the deep cleaning of the undercarriage, I have noticed a bit of a leak but from what my mechanic said it's usual sweat for these cars. Transmission is very smooth and regular maintenance of the oil has been done. Air conditioning is very cold.
Bid in the amount of $70,000
@seller Also, any chance you could post a longer driving video and cold start?
@seller. Can you comment on any leaks (or amount of oil it's burning), transmission issues and how (whether) the air conditioning is currently working?

@Gian993 Thanks, what about the scratches, any idea how they happened? The lower scratch looks like it was rust that was fixed.

@Esparza33 Also, Im not too familiar with the Recaro seats...do they just slide back and forth or do they recline as well?
Bid in the amount of $993
Love the look of the car...congrats! Any idea how this scratches happened? They seem to be quite noticeable...
@Bowerpower22 No dry blasting was done. It was all done by hand with brush, the dry blasting wasn't recommended as it removes too much of the oem protection.
@Bowerpower22 I will attach some close ups tonight. It is wrapped with Xpel ppf and 80-90% of the car was done with seamless edging. You barely see any edges...you'll see in the pictures to come. Thanks
@ViperPorcheF Hey you should verify on your end with a broker but I believe because it is over a certain age and that it was originally a US car therefore no duties to pay.
Also, was it recently dry ice blasted? Always so hard to see if there are any leaks etc. when its this clean. Looks great for sale, but can hide a lot... Prefer to do this after its purchased... Thansk
Any closeups of the edge wraps on the ppf? Makes all the difference how visible the edges are… Was it precut or custom installed. Also what brand ppf?
Any driving videos in the car? Thanks!
Buying this car will not require any conversion back to US standards? Any idea what the tariff would be when imported back to the US?
