This 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe showcases a Midnight Blue Metallic exterior over Dark Blue and Grey leather upholstery. Featuring an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle, it comes factory-equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), 8-way power seats, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and a sound system. This 993 was purchased by the current owner out of Cleveland in 2006 and underwent an engine rebuild in 2022, including upgraded WebCam RS grind cams, machined heads with larger intake valves, custom ignition wires, ARP rod bolts, Porsche Motorsport valve springs, a Steve Wong chip, modified muffler, and Fabspeed cat-bypass pipes. The car has also been modified with Bilstein/H&R coilover suspension, RS sway bars, RS splitters, LED headlights, a GT2-style rear wing, and 18” RH Speedline-style wheels. Under the care of its owner for nearly 20 years, this well-appointed and tastefully modified 993 is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania with approximately 103k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (L39C), this Carrera Coupe has been modified with LED headlights, RS front splitters, and a GT2-style rear wing. Factory equipment includes integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and red Porsche-branded Brembo brake calipers. The suspension has been lowered to European-spec ride height, complementing the 18” RH Speedline-style wheels. The wheels measure 8.5” wide in front, 10” wide in the rear, and were mounted with new Falken 615RT 200TW tires approximately 1k miles ago. The CARFAX report shows minor damage to the front end in 2021. The seller states this resulted from an insurance claim to refinish the front bumper cover after an object fell and gouged it in their garage. Some minor stone chips are noted on the hood, along with two touched-up chips on the driver’s door handle. The seller adds that the exterior underwent paint correction and ceramic coating.
The cabin features Dark Blue and Grey leather upholstery, optional 8-way power seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a sound system, a 6-disc CD changer, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. Some wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolsters, an aftermarket cup holder insert has been installed in the center console, and the CD changer is inoperable.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 272 HP. In 2022, at 99k miles, it was rebuilt and modified with machined and ported heads with enlarged 52.5mm intake valves, Porsche Motorsport valve springs, WebCam RS grind cams, ARP rod bolts, custom blue Magnecore ignition wires, a custom Steve Wong chip for 93 octane fuel, and Fabspeed cat-bypass exhaust pipes. The airbox cover has been drilled, and the stock muffler internal baffling has been removed for increased exhaust sound. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The car also features an optional Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), upgraded RS sway bars, a Bilstein/H&R coilover suspension, and steering rack bracing. Additionally, the car has been lowered and aligned to European RS-specification and corner-balanced for optimal handling. The stock catalytic converter is included in the sale.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, two keys, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Welcome to my auction for my Midnight Blue 993. I would be happy to answer any questions. I'm a 35 year Porsche owner and own multiple aircooled Porsches. The 993 is simply the best example of the aircooled 911 and I have invested a lot of time, money and effort building this car to its current state. I was planning to keep this 993 forever but made a decision to purchase a 991.2 Touring. It is best to let someone else enjoy it and be its next caretaker. Good luck and happy bidding!!”

@AHWinsAgain The engine was rebuilt in May 2022, so 3 years ago and put on about 3500 miles since. The only weak point of the car right now is the AC could use a recharge. It works but need to put fan on high. The CD changer does not work. Both of these items were noted before. Mechanically, the car is bullet proof and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Great car. @JAEGER911 can you speak to how many miles have been driven on the car since the engine rebuild? Any repairs or fixes you have in queue that I should consider before bidding? Thanks - looks great.
@Porscheguy123 all routine maintenance like oil and brake fluid changes, brakes etc done by me. At the engine rebuild, every wear part was replaced with new. FYI, I have a home shop with a lift.
Would like to know if this 993 comes with a
Recent service record

@Scheinrs clutch and battery were changed 3k/3years ago when engine was out. Alternator was not changed under my ownership and works fine.
@seller How many miles in the clutch / since any clutch work... Did they replace when engine was out? Battery and alternator age?

@ei8hty8 No, never got it with the car, 20 years ago. Car came with Turbo wing which I replaced with the GT2 wing.

Additional info: I have a newer set of 50oz carpet floor mats by Lloyds and new in the box rear Porsche brake rotors which are coming with the car. I don't think I have any new front rotors. I also have some spare Pagid brake pads and filters. Basically, whatever spare parts I have will go with the car as well as a 4" thick binder of service history. The cat is also included.
@1CG picture posted this morning, I was traveling and earliest I could get to it.
@StickyBlackice Thanks for the vote of confidence!! Now get out there and bid! You can always sell your 930. :) If wifey did not dictate to sell 1 car, I'd be keeping the 993 for my back roads shenanigans with the local Porsche club I run. For those wanting more pictures and videos, check out Lehigh Valley Porsche Owners Club that I started in Covid to get people to #getoutanddrive. Yes, this car gets driven on weekends, not a garage queen.
What a beautiful example!
Wow, Im in love with this car.... One of the few models I would consider trading my beloved 930 for. Great spec and mods. There is something about the 993 that I'm a huge sucker for... GLWA, i expect significant increase from here!

@tkoz sorry about the delay getting to picture of windshield seal area but sometimes work gets in the way. Picture coming in a minute.

@wilhit10 correct, it was not. The bottom end is very stout on these engines. I will post some additional engine rebuild pictures shortly. The valves and head gets carbon build up and valve guides wear out causing blowby and oil consumption. I’m not an engine guy but that’s what I was told. Instead of splitting the case, I opted to spend money on cams, bigger intake valves and headwork to make power per my engine guru. I can provide the engine builder if you need more specifics but that’s what I recall. The custom chip was tuned for the specific lift and duration of the cams to provide correct ignition timing and fuel.
By the receipts, it doesn't look like the case was split during the rebuild? Am I correct with that assumption?

@1CG I'm actually traveling for work and will get home tonight. I will try to provide another picture but it will be late tonight.
@tkoz The car has seen a few PCA HPDE laps at Pocono Raceway. About once per year when my M3 was in the shop. I have 2 dedicated track cars, an E46 M3 and a 1974 911 so this was my "nice" street car. I'm a track instructor and classroom instructor so this car was not built for the track. Driving on the track does not hurt the car. Full disclosure, yes, the car has seen 140 on the track as it's the only safe place to do it!
@ jager911 Any luck getting another picture with the angle shown in #43 to alleviate rust by / under the seal concerns?
Has the car seen any track use? If yes how much and what kind of events?
I wonder if I can bid $60,251 to keep this moving?
Bid in the amount of $60,250
@Carguy19 I apologize as I thought I answered your question but did not go through. Estimated is 330hp by seat of pants dyno. I can pull on friend's 370hp 991.1 and he was surprised but hp doesn't matter that much. All in the suspension, tires and the nut behind the wheel. I have a 400hp dyno'd E46 M3 and the 993 feels as quick but the gears are really long especially 2nd gear so the M3 probably has the edge. This car is best enjoyed in back roads driving.
As we get into the final 24 hours of bidding, please don't hesitate to ask any more questions. I am at work and trying to answer as close to real-time as possible. I received the affidavit from Modern Auto Body last night documenting the front bumper repair and sent to PCAR admin to load the document. The next owner will have this document in the records and the pictures of the repair. It's inconsequential, Jack said it's the same as fixing the road rash on a front bumper for a respray. Good luck and happy bidding!! Let's get my 993 to a good home for the next caretaker.

@jager911 works for me, thanks!
@jager911 just that area that is on picture #43. Thanks
Any idea of the horsepower w the rebuilt motor? And does the AC work properly or does it need to be fixed/recharged?
@tkoz I missed your request for more pictures like #43. Are you looking for close-ups of the entire seal or just that area? I'm at work but can do that later this evening after 5pm.
@Scheinrs Will do, I'm at work until 4pmET so it will be later today as I don't have the receipts here with me.
@tkoz I have the original rear seatbelts anchors/receivers, they will be reinstalled prior to sale, I was trying to go for a cleaner look in the rear as an experiment as no one has sat there in my ownership. I meant to re-install prior to pictures but time got away.
@seller, can you please post all the paperwork from the engine rebuild?
Bid in the amount of $40,000
@jager911 thanks for checking. Also question on picture #92. Looks like the rear seatbelt anchor bolt and cover is missing for the rear left seat. Are those available? Any reason it was removed?
@tkoz I looked carefully at the windshield seal, I do not see any signs of rust. I have been very transparent with all the small flaws with the car. I do not wish to create a sealing issue for water to get in by lifting the seal as there is probably an adhesive there IIRC when it was installed.
@wilhit10 in 20 years, I have never charged it, it works just not like new 911. It could probably use a charge. Don’t know, I’m usually driving fast with windows down listening to the aircooled symphony behind me. The sound is intoxicating and makes me want to drop a gear just to hear it. 😍
@tkoz there is zero rust and no, I’m not lifting the seal but I can take a look at what you are seeing. The windshield was replaced and there was zero rust. This car has been garaged all its life and doesn’t see rain, snow or salt ad it’s stored in winter.

Bid in the amount of $15,000
@jager911 any chance you ca provide few more pictures just like picture #43. Any chance you can lift up the windshield seal a bit. Looks like some rust forming there or maybe just the picture.
993's should have good A/C. 964 and later had modern A/C.
Bid in the amount of $13,911
Any idea what the current horsepower is. Sounds pretty healthy. Nice color combo.
Bid in the amount of $13,000
Kudos to the seller who posted all the flaws that most sellers hide. This would be a great driver that one could restore some of the cosmetics while using the car. OR.....just drive the pants off of it.
I'm attaching the bill for the front bumper paint and repair of ding, $475. An affidavit will be following by tomorrow from the body shop with details of what was done.
Bid in the amount of $12,000
@Craignyc Unfortunately, I took pictures with an old cell phone back then to send to the body shop that did the work. The shop is Modern Auto Body owned by Jack Haberman for independent verification. I will call tomorrow to see if they stored the picture. The situation was an aluminum picture frame mounted on garage wall above the front bumper fell off and the corner hit right below the crest, leaving a 1/4" dimple in the plastic bumper cover. The cost of repair was around $600 at the time. I may have a receipt in the folder with the details of repair but the car was not hit nor involved in an accident. As a result of the repaint, all the stone chips on front bumper and splitters were addressed.
@Montegue there was no work performed on the transaxle or shift linkage as it works well with no shifting issues. In other words, "don't fix it, if it's not broken". The AC works but is not great for the 993 generation. It's better with fan on high, it may need a recharge perhaps. It has not bothered me in the mountains of PA where it's typically cooler.
@tkoz I have a recent video inside the car on a road drive about a week ago. I will post it shortly.
@tkoz Yes, I have full records of the work performed. There is a picture posted with some of the paperwork but I can post more pictures if there is something specific you are looking to see.
Bid in the amount of $10,993
Bid in the amount of $993
Any documentation on the work that is listed. Also possible to get a video of a drive going through all gears?
Beautiful spec!
Was there any work/refresh done to the transaxle or shift linkage during the engine build?
How well is the AC working; does it need a refresh?
Are there any pictures from the damage that caused the repaint of the front bumper in 2021?
