Ferrari’s flagship mid-engine sports car of the late 1990s, the F355 debuted Pininfarina-designed bodywork and Ferrari’s first 5-valve V8, which delivered the highest horsepower-to-displacement ratio of any production car at the time. This 1995 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta is finished in Rosso Corsa over Cream Connolly leather and features a gated 6-speed manual transmission along with 18” magnesium wheels. Having spent most of its life in Italy, it underwent an engine-out service at Ineco Ferrari of Modena before being imported to the United States. Previously owned by professional racing driver, Augusto Farfus, this F355 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Illinois with approximately 16k kilometers or 10k miles on the odometer.
The F355 was designed by Maurizio Corbi at Pininfarina and features distinctive flying buttress rear pillars, a vented engine cover, an integrated rear spoiler, side air intakes, pop-up headlamps, and quad exhaust outlets. This Berlinetta is finished in Ferrari's traditional shade of Rosso Corsa and rides on factory 18” 5-spoke magnesium wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Cream Conolly leather upholstery. Details include a polished gated shifter, F355 badge on the passenger-side dashboard, drilled aluminum pedals, Ferrari-branded door sill guards, embossed Ferrari badges in the headrests, chrome-ringed Veglia instrumentation, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for fuel level and coolant temperature.
The F355 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5L naturally aspirated V8 with 5 valves per cylinder, titanium connecting rods, and dry-sump lubrication resulting in a power output of 375 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 6-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 183 MPH. The seller states that following years in storage, a major engine-out service was performed, including an inspection of the cylinders and a timing belt replacement. Service records from Ineco Ferrari of Modena, Italy, are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is an exceptionally well-preserved 1995 F355 GTB that we imported from Monaco after purchasing it from the professional racecar driver Augusto Farfus. The car had an engine out service done at the authorized Ferrari dealer Ineco Ferrari. While there it also received new tires and an extensive detail where they removed the seats. The Crema interior is stunning with the Rossa Corsa paint, and combined with the very low mileage, it is a top-class collectible F355. The main advantages of a 1995 European F355 GTB over the U.S. version are better performance (more horsepower), less weight, a more direct and pure driving experience, and fewer regulatory restrictions. These aspects make the European version more appealing to enthusiasts looking for a more spirited driving experience or a more "authentic" Ferrari feel.”

@Dallas32 good questions, to our knowledge there is nothing that is aftermarket or changed on the car. Everything on the car works, and there are no issues. It does not have sticky buttons either. When we purchased the car from the second owner, it was confirmed at that time after the inspection that it had 100% original paint.

@99oneTcabs photo number 218 is a letter from the original owner who stated that they owned the car since new and that it has had no damage or paint work ever. We bought it from the second owner who put approximately 600 miles on the car.
The owner history is kinda cool but is there anything to document that?
Do you know if the paint is original? Have you taken paint meter readings? Are there any other items on the car that are not original to your knowledge? Any mechanical issues or items that don't function correctly?
I figured it out. GTS is targa not GTB
Ok got it. Im new to these cars. I thought GTB was removable tops. Thank you.
@99oneTcabs good question, GTB is an abbreviation for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. So you can refer to the car either as a GTB or Berlinetta and it means the same thing.
The description in the ad says Berlinetta but then its described in the ad as a GTB. Can you please confirm.

@CalH good question, the VIN is considered personal data in many countries so they don’t update the Carfax with information like they do in the USA.
How come there is no history on the carfax prior to 5/2024?
