The final incarnation of the Porsche 964, the Turbo 3.6 debuted in 1993, featuring a new turbocharged version of the 3.6-liter M64 engine, lowered and stiffer suspension, red four-piston brakes from the exclusive Turbo S model, and distinctive 18” Speedline three-piece wheels. This 1994 example is one of only 1,437 produced, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after Porsches of the era. Finished in Grand Prix White over Marine Blue leather upholstery, it was delivered new to its first owner in New Haven, Connecticut, via the Continental Imports dealership of Joplin, Missouri. It came factory equipped with optional polished wheels, supple leather seats, driver’s seat lumbar support, and an electric sunroof at an original sticker price of over $107k. This 964 covered less than 50k miles under the care of its original owner when it was sold to its second owner in 2015, who oversaw $15k worth of service before it joined the current owner’s collection in 2017. Showing approximately 55k miles on the odometer, this 964 Turbo 3.6 is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut.
Characterized by its aggressive stance, the 964 Turbo’s bodywork is 25mm wider than a standard Carrera’s to accommodate the much larger wheels and tires. At the rear, it features dual exhaust outlets, a chrome model designation, and a large “Tea Tray” spoiler that provides space for the engine’s intercooler while improving aerodynamics. This example is painted in Grand Prix White and rides on 18” Speedline three-piece wheels in an optional polished finish. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, headlamp washers, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, front mudguards, a rear window wiper, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes the paint has been preserved in excellent original condition. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Marine Blue leather upholstery and matching carpets. Accessories include optional supple leather seat upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with driver lumbar support, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, a central locking system, automatic climate control, an onboard computer, and an aftermarket Sony Bluetooth stereo.
The turbocharged 3.6-liter M64/50 flat-six engine was factory-rated at 360 HP and 384 lb-ft of torque. It drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The Turbo 3.6 features a lower and stiffer suspension than the preceding Turbo 3.3 and is equipped with larger 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller states the car was maintained by Porsche specialists at Automobile Associates in Canton, Connecticut, during the first two ownerships until approximately 50k miles.
This sale will include a window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a 3 owner example, with the first owner having until 2015. Ready to be driven or a perfect addition to any collection. This vehicle still retains original paint and glass along with excellent maintenance history and presents exceptionally in original condition.”

As we come into the final 90 minutes on the vehicle, I appreciate all the interest and stories about 3.6 Turbos. This car is truly a time capsule and presents exceptionally. To review the vehicle has had 3 Owners with the first purchasing to replace his 930 Turbo. He parted ways with the vehicle in 2015 and it was taken by another custodian for 2 years.
The most recent owner having since 2017 and having a massive collection with a mechanic overseeing the collection, that if the vehicle needed something it was addressed. The motor is dry with no leaks and if someone is to seek perfection on the vehicle it would be to refinish the wheels, other than that the A/C blows cold, radio works as it should along with all other features. I look forward to seeing the vehicle off to a new home today! Thanks PCAR for hosting the vehicle!

A driving video has been added to the listing page.
@pinkpig917 The tail lights have never been removed from vehicle. What we are seeing between the plastic and latch area is the remains of the old gasket/glue material that was there originally. There is no rust or corrosion starting there.
@jay993 It surely is a great car, as far as wheel refinishing I know of a few companies actually out there that do great work.
Putting test drive video together at the moment. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing this go to a new custodian to enjoy for many miles to come! Great spec, documented long term ownership and well kept in original condition.

What a car! Truly the last 930! Yes, I have one. There is 1 person in the USA who can refinish the wheels with the proper etching, etc. He’s not cheap, but he’s the only one. Feel free to reach out to me if you need the info.
Can you take a up-close photo of the area where the plastic meets the rear frame, by rear latch. Seems like there is some rust or corrosion..
@toysforus I will work on getting those shots for you.
As for the meter readings this vehicle has NOT been repainted. This is how the vehicle left the factory and retains the paint from era. All colors show different levels of thickness. Alternatively if a car is over detailed or paint corrected with a heavy hand, it will take mils off which you see lower readings on. Hope this helps. Thanks!
Question is there any way to get a closer picture of the markings on the rims showing their originality.
My other question would be regarding the paint meters on both sides of the car. What is the story with the repaint?
Good Afternoon! Thank you for all the bids, comments and messages in regards to the vehicle. I will have a test drive video up late tomorrow along with some other photos of the frunk. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or potential viewings! This is a great vehicle that still retains the originality from leaving the factory. All original glass, paint, stone guards, interior! Looking forward to the rest of the auction. Thanks!

Good Evening! Thank your for taking a look here at our 964 Turbo 3.6. The vehicle has been very well cared for it's whole life. The first owner acquired the vehicle to replace his 930 Turbo, he kept the car until 2015 and was a true enthusiast and it shows. The vehicle stayed locally here in CT and went to the second owner whom then sold to the most recent owner in 2017. The vehicle presents exceptionally and still wears original paint and glass from the factory. The interior as well still retains the early 90's Porsche smell. 5,000 miles have been added under current ownership and resides with quite the collection of vehicles. A test drive video along with more photos of the front and other components will be added over the weekend. Until then please review all photos along with the walk around video. I look forward to the vehicle finding a new custodian to enjoy for miles to come. Thanks!
