A limited-edition model built specifically for the North American market, the Land Rover Defender NAS (North American Specification) was introduced in the 1990s with enhanced safety features, emissions compliance, and added luxury equipment compared to its global counterparts. This 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 is one of approximately 2,000 North American-spec examples imported for the model year. Finished in red over grey and black upholstery, it is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. Showing approximately 96k miles on the odometer, this Defender is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Hampshire.
The NAS model comes factory-equipped with a front brush guard, side steps, a rear step, a full-size spare tire, and an external roll cage for soft top versions. This example has been refinished in red and features aftermarket Hella driving lights. It rides on factory silver-finished 16” five-spoke wheels mounted with BFGoodrich tires. The seller notes a light scratch on the driver’s door and rust beneath the driver’s side step. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, occupants are greeted with grey and black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a two-spoke steering wheel, inward-facing rear jump seats, rubber floor mats, a locking center console storage compartment, and an aftermarket Alpine head unit with upgraded speakers.
A gasoline-powered 3.9-liter V8 engine delivers up to 182 HP and 232 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes a clutch master cylinder replacement, with no outstanding maintenance items reported.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This vehicle is my dream car, and I have kept it in the garage most of the time I have owned it due to its size and my ability.”

@Singer2020 I have added pictures of under the car where dynamite is, left and right. The driver side you can see the dynamite under the car but not left, not sure why that is,there is no rust. The only rust is on the step bar both sides. Thank you for asking.
Hi, since the cross member are super rusty, would you please post pictures from under each door as well as inside the boxes under the seats. With waxol cover under the car and dynamat under the floors are ther more rusts on floor pans?
@ionyota I have added the gear change to the video gallery.
@Bella22 I have added to video gallery. Thank you for the suggestion.
@ionyota Yes I can do that absolutly. I will need someone to drive with me tomorrow.
@seller, can you post videos showing a cold start, and a video in the cabin driving at all speeds going through the gears?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@Bella22 Edit.
I had to have the plastic windows put in as it took two people to get a tight fit.
@ionyota I have not had the hard top on since owning it. I bought the vehicle with the roof rack on the top that's on now, so that can be put back on. I had the top put on professionally. No electrical or any other issues.
@seller, can you put on the the rack and the hardtop for transport?
Any little mechanical or electrical issues that need to be sorted out?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
