Renowned for its rugged design and global off-road pedigree, the Land Rover Defender 110 offers durability and expedition-ready capability. This 1991 example, previously owned by television personality Jillian Michaels, underwent a comprehensive nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration by Key Garage, an acclaimed European workshop known for its craftsmanship and Defender expertise. Powered by a Corvette-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, the build features a repaint in Porsche Ivory over a custom-trimmed interior, along with a galvanized chassis, performance upgrades, and modern amenities. Showing approximately 1k miles from test and shakedown, this fully restored Defender is now being offered for auction by the seller out of California.
This example was refinished in Porsche Ivory as part of a comprehensive nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration. Exterior details include galvanized front and rear bumpers, LED headlights, a custom grille, body-color fender flares, and black step plates. It rides on body-color 16” steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, with a rear-mounted spare tire affixed to the tailgate. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with an accident-free CARFAX report.
The interior has been completely reupholstered in two-tone dark brown leather and tan herringbone cloth, with front bucket seats and inward-facing bench seats in the rear cargo area. It is equipped with custom color-coordinated door panels, brushed metal hardware, integrated cupholders, and custom carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, remote central locking, modern digital instrumentation, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit with Focal speakers.
Power comes from a Corvette-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine paired with a GM Performance computer. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The drivetrain has been fully rebuilt and customized with a CVF pulley kit, Lokar shifter, custom driveshaft, and a bespoke exhaust system. Additional mechanical upgrades include a power steering conversion kit along with modified brakes and suspension.
This sale will include a clean title.

Beautiful defender,
Is the headliner black or same brown leather as seats? Was there a reason the driver side front fender air vent was deleted? Don’t see normal location of air vents are they under dash? What is the (modified)brake/suspension set up ? Thank you

Great looking ride,
Is this defender located in Florida or California? Asking because of transport cost factoring in.
Odd question given that it’s in Florida but does the heat work?

@Workshop5001 Thank you for the quick reply. GLWTA
@PitRoadLife333 I’m sorry I do not know the exact answer. I would guesstimate it is greater than a standard D110 with the LS3.
Great looking build.
Do you have any idea what the tow rating would be?
Thanks, Michael GLWTA

Greetings,
In photographs 94 & 99 I can see a random small diameter hose that is cut, and hanging from the underside of the vehicle frame, are you able to identify the hose?
Thanks,
JMG
