Finished in Grand Prix White over a Linen Grey leather interior, this 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe was sold new in California, equipped with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a 3.6-liter flat-six engine powering all four wheels. An engine reseal with inspection and new gaskets was performed under the previous ownership. Modifications include a Fabspeed dual exhaust system, a Steve Wong engine performance chip, Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, a Fabspeed front strut tower brace, LED projector headlights, aluminum Rennline pedal covers, and 17” Otto Fuchs-style wheels. Recently acquired by the seller and treated to over $17k worth of service and refurbishment, this tastefully modified 964 is now being offered for auction out of Illinois with under 41k miles showing on the odometer.
This Carrera 4 Coupe is finished in Grand Prix White and factory-equipped with headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, an electric sunroof, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The exterior has been modified with black Carrera script side stripes, aftermarket projector headlamps, dual Fabspeed exhaust tips, and 17” Otto Fuchs-style wheels. Refurbishment performed under the seller’s care includes replacing the rear spoiler motor, windshield washer pump, wiper blades, license plate bulbs, and new painted rocker panels. The full exterior is covered by XPEL clear paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Linen Grey interior is equipped with optional 8-way electric Comfort Seats, adjustable lumbar support, a black leather four-spoke steering wheel, a leather gear knob and parking brake handle, Rennline aluminum pedal covers, custom aluminum center console trim, and Coco floor mats. Other accessories include power windows, a central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a radio delete cover. The air conditioning system was serviced, and the driver’s door lock microswitch and steering wheel were replaced under the seller’s ownership.
Factory-rated at 247 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine was resealed with inspection and new gaskets under the previous ownership and modified with a Fabspeed dual-exit exhaust and a Steve Wong engine performance chip. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a computer-controlled limited-slip differential. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in October 2024, and the seller recently oversaw replacements of the fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, front and rear brake pads, brake fluid, battery, engine oil, and oil filter.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “If you are looking for a fully sorted 964 that is more than stock, but not a full restomod, this is a great middle ground. This car has been very well maintained, and once we acquired it, we also spent nearly $17,000 in our shop diagnosing and fixing anything we could find with the car that needed to be addressed. We've attached those ROs to the attachments section of the auction. Performance upgrades include Bilstein PSS10 suspension, SW Chips performance chip, Fabspeed muffler with dual outlets, Fabspeed front strut stabilizer bar, and Otto Fuchs wheels. The car was originally sold in California and is a US car. We will be uploading paint meter readings to the auction shortly. Please reach out if you have any questions.”

@Mspohn Good question, we have a cold start video that will be uploaded tomorrow that shows the car does not have any trouble idling. The only motor work is the chip and exhaust. We also will include the original exhaust and the original headlights.
@Mspohn We were not, it was a no sale and we then acquired it from the seller after the auction. We put $17,000 into the car to make it turn key ready to drive. During this process we installed all new fuel lines which is a known weak point on these cars.
@galen photos of the underside of the car have just been uploaded.
@isringhausen - in the startup video, it sounds as she struggles to idle? Can you verify with a cold startup video that demonstrates idle better? Has any motor work been done?
@Isringhausen Must have deleted by accident thank you!! While I have you - this car last was on BAT in Nov 2024. Were you the seller then also?
@galen yes we will upload them soon thanks!
@Mspohn Thanks we sent you one back it said - Thanks Matt! There would be no issues with picking it up and driving it home back to Pennsylvania. It is ready to go.
@isringhausen - sent you a PM the other day, can you please check? Thanks!

Could you post some pictures of the underside of the car?
Bid in the amount of $50,000
Thank you, I actually see it now on your Invoice 2, thanks again. Some of the pictures taken outside look like the rear bumper (#21) is covered in sut, is that from the extended Fabspeed outlets? Are those exhaust outlets original or are they Fabspeed? Also, for us California buyers can you confirm the car still has the CAT for smog and registering in Cali?
@SherbourneDr thanks we put on the original steering wheel, it will come the Momo steering wheel as well.
Which steering wheel is installed, photos show OEM and a Momo in different photos.
