Intended as the successor to the iconic XK-E, the Jaguar XJS was powered by a 5.3-liter V12 derived from the final XK-E and updated with Bosch-Lucas fuel injection for improved performance and efficiency. This 1990 example is finished in silver over tan leather upholstery and features chrome accents, 15” knock-off style wire wheels, power accessories, power-adjustable seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and more. Showing approximately 53k miles on the odometer, this one-owner XJS is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Oklahoma.
This Jaguar is finished in silver and features chrome trim and wheel arches. Equipment includes impact bumpers with black rubber and chrome trim, fog lights, bodyside molding, V12 badging, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The car rides on 15” knock-off style wire wheels featuring a multi-spoke design with three-eared spinner caps, Jaguar logo centers, and Pirelli tires from 2009. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, occupants are greeted with tan leather accented by a black dashboard, wood veneers, and grey carpeting. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, power windows, air conditioning, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and cruise control. The stereo is currently inoperable, and all other gauges and accessories are confirmed to be working properly.
This XJS is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 engine, which delivers a factory-rated 262 HP and 290 lb-ft of torque to rear wheels through a 3-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission. Disc brakes at all four corners provide stopping power. The seller states that the power steering pump may require attention as it tends to make noise.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Someone babied this car, and it shows. It's a 35-year-old car that looks almost brand new. It drives very well.”

6-7500 at best this car
@Bankrep40 The buy now price was not the reserve. No idea where that number came from. Feel free to call us at Iconic Motors of OKC.
Insane reserve for a car that has limited service records
Bid in the amount of $6,500
@Bankrep40 If we go at least a little over the reserve, you've got a deal.
P.S. Still waiting to hear back from the local shop. I called again a little bit ago.
Will you waive the dealer fee if it’s dealer to dealer
@Bankrep40 We're working on getting that info. I've left a message with a local shop that works with Jags, hoping to hear back soon...
Bid in the amount of $6,250
@IconicMotors do you have an estimate how much it be to fixed
@Bankrep40 Hello, sir! We did change the fluids and give it a "once over". Everything checked out. The "steering issue" isn't as quite of an issue as it sounds. We just wanted to be transparent with our bidders. The steering still works great, just has a noise coming from it sometimes, and we're only speculating as to what it could be. We didn't address the steering issue mostly because we wanted to keep the price as low as we could and let the next owner decide how they wanted to proceed (if they wanted it fixed; if they had a more specialized/preferred mechanic they'd like to work on the car, etc.).
Hopefully this helps a little. Thanks for looking!
Have you changed the oil service since you bought it from the dealer auction? Sounds like you trying to make a quick flip with limited service info. Maybe addressing the steering issue would help increase the price a bit. This is just my opinion
What service have you done before putting up online
Bid in the amount of $6,000
@Dozer We, unfortunately, don't have any prior service records on the car. We obtained the car from a dealer's auction, and did not receive any records when we took ownership.
@Dozer It is all original, however we won't have a way to get a paint meter reading in time before the auction ends. Apologies.
Bid in the amount of $5,750
Any service records prior to 2015?
Is the paint all original? Is it possible to get paint meter readings?
Less than 24 hours left to go! Don't miss out on this one!
@writersblock It is a V12. We have no idea why it said six cylinder at any point. Looks like it's correctly described as a V12 now. Apologies for any confusion.
@GAFox We haven't noticed any leaks from anywhere at this point. Thanks for looking, and thanks for the nice comment. Happy bidding!
Hey folks, we're getting close to the finish line. We wanted to comment on the radio...it is operable, however, at some point the computer must've gotten reset (probably a battery swap) and the radio just needs a code to be able to access it.
Other than that, we're excited to get this beauty in someone's garage soon. Let's get those bids in! :)

Clearly the V12. Probably a cut&paste mistake not proof reading your work.
Is this a V12 or I6?
