Powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case with a locking center differential, this 1989 Land Rover 90 was expertly refurbished and modified by Arkonik of Somerset, England, before being imported to the U.S. in 2019. Finished in Arles Blue with a gray leather interior featuring diamond-quilted stitching, it includes an Exmoor Trim black soft top, Puma-style hood, KBX grille, A-bar front bumper, Old Man Emu shocks, Tarox disc brakes, 16″ Khan Design wheels, Warn winch, NAS-style rear bumper, Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system, Alpine sound system, LED lighting, and air conditioning. Acquired by the seller on PCARMARKET in June 2024, this tastefully modified Land Rover is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
Refinished in Arles Blue by Arkonik in 2020, this example showcases several upgrades, including an Exmoor Trim black soft top, Puma-style hood, alpine windows, and an A-bar front bumper with a Warn winch. Additional features include a KBX grille, NAS-style rear bumper with a receiver hitch, LED lighting, Fire & Ice side steps, checker-plated rock guards, mud flaps, and Arkonik badging. It rides on black-finished 16” Khan Design wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires mounted approximately 1,400 miles ago. A matching spare is mounted on a swing-out rear carrier and protected by an Arkonik-branded cover. Detailed images are available in the gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report dating back to its importation in August 2019.
The interior was reupholstered by Ruskin Design Limited in Wigston, England. It features gray leather with diamond-quilted stitching throughout the heated front Braum Elite Sport seats, inward-facing rear jump seats, center console, and door panels. A leather-wrapped steering wheel with billet aluminum spokes and an Arkonik-branded horn button adds a refined touch. Notable amenities include a Pioneer touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay, an Alpine six-speaker sound system, air conditioning, and a locking center console. All gauges and electronics are reported to be fully functional.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, installed by Arkonik, featuring Corvette-branded fuel rail covers. The rear or all four wheels are driven via a 6-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Performance upgrades include an aluminum radiator and a custom air intake with an open-element air filter. The suspension has been enhanced with Old Man Emu shocks, Eibach springs, and anti-roll bars. Braking has been upgraded with a Wilwood master cylinder and Tarox six-piston calipers over slotted and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Recent maintenance in February 2023 included resealing the differentials and transfer case and battery and hose replacements.
This Land Rover is offered with a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “The car is beautifully re-done by Arkonik. The Corvette Engine sounds awesome. The interiors are beautifully done with the jump seats in the back. Overall, the car is in brand new/excellent condition.”

Attention Bidders, update on the question of 4x4!
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a six speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case and a locking center differential. The differentials and transfer case were resealed in February 2023.
Sorry for all the confusion but that is the final statement on 4x4 questions.
@BlindRabbit the title to the car will accompany the sale and delivered via by UPS/Fedex.
And you should have no problem in the state of Utah.
Very nice build … Why does this vehicle not have a title? I reside mostly in Utah , not sure if Utah will grant registration based on bill of sale ,with no title

It is possible to register it in CA but it would take a little work to get it lined up to register. One is adding a “check engine” light on the panel.
Nice looking ride. I have noticed Montana plates, can this vehicle be registered in CA with smog and updated engine?
Bid in the amount of $727
Hello Everyone!
I’m selling this beautifully done Defender restored by Arkonik Automotive from the UK.
I purchased this car back in March of 2024. It’s a lot of fun to drive around but I realize I barely drive it, so it feels wasteful to just sit in my garage.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
@SofiaLeo I purchased this car back in March of 2024. It was an emotional purchase having gone through a divorce. With that said, i barely drove it and embarrassingly not sure if the 4x4 is in use. I know there is an off wheel gear stick but not sure if it’s in use.
I’m out of town until Friday and can confirm once I get back.
@seller does the 4x4 work? Or has it been disconnected? Thank you
