Available for auction is a stunning 1:2 scale replica of the legendary McLaren MP4/4, the car that propelled Ayrton Senna to his 1988 Formula One World Driver’s Championship. Handcrafted in Europe using a mix of carbon fiber and fiberglass, this meticulously detailed model features the iconic #12 white and red McLaren livery adorned with sponsor logos, including Marlboro, Shell, Honda, and Tag Heuer. 
Design elements include front and rear wings, side pods, a roll hoop, an antenna, and a rear diffuser, while the fiberglass wheels are wrapped in Goodyear-branded tires with white Eagle lettering. 
The simulated braking system incorporates cooling ducts, rotors, and red-finished calipers, complemented by a black double-wishbone suspension setup with push- and pull-rods. Inside the cockpit, a fixed-back seat and a three-spoke steering wheel with faux switchgear complete the race-ready aesthetic.

@sabowman45 The steering system isn’t functional. While the wheels can rotate, the car isn’t meant to be rolled as it is resting on its underbody, which is designed to prevent the suspension arms (made from thermoplastic) from collapsing.
Understood but I wanted to know if the steering is functional, meaning when you turn the steering wheel do the front wheels turn much like a diecast model car or do the front tires always stay in the same fixed position? Was also wondering the rigidity of the front steering control arms (rods) and if they are plastic, carbon fiber or aluminum. Basically I’m trying to determine if they break off under much pressure in case I didn’t wall mount it and sat it on 4 wheel pedestals or if its rigid enough to support a small child (30lbs) to sit in it for the purpose of taking pictures only.
@sabowman45 This is a 1/2 wall-mounted art piece with no electrical or mechanical components. It’s constructed using a blend of fibers and thermoplastics.
