Introduced as the final evolution of Jaguar’s legendary E-Type, the 1974 XK-E Series III Roadster offers performance derived from the marque’s Le Mans heritage in a grand touring convertible platform. Powered by a 5.3-liter V12 engine featuring quad carburetors and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, this example has been comprehensively restored by the Spiratos brothers, renowned collectors known for their meticulous preservation efforts. Refinished in British Racing Green over a tan interior, the car features four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a black soft top, 15” wire-spoke wheels, Smiths instrumentation, and more. This beautifully restored Series III E-Type is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.

Were you ever able to find any US providence for this car. If I can prove it was a US car originally things get a lot easier. If it is a Canadian car from the start then probably not feasible for me unfortunately.
Thanks
Dave
Many thanks. Yes - It looks really good.
@dnp840ci i will scan the file if evidence of US residency can be found.
I drove countless E-Type, and this one comes from another Galaxy ! Lol 😂
@AlexBert Unfortunately I have been that route before and the fees/pena;ties get pretty expensive. CHP and the regular cops are pretty vigilant around here. Do you know if the car has ever been registered in the US before (with proof) as that would make things a lot easier.
Car looks in great condition. I have had one before that I spent 7 years rebuilding. It's time for another one :-)

What a beautiful car. I just purchased a 1990 Porsche 944 turbo from Alex or I'd be bidding on this. I had a fantastic time driving it from Montreal to South Dakota. Getting it accross the boarder was a breeze.
