This 1971 Porsche 911T Coupe is the subject of a custom restoration that was commissioned in 2014. Refinished in its sought-after factory color of Albert Blue, it features steel fender flares, an RS-style front bumper, lowered Bilstein suspension, polished Fuchs-style wheels, Signal Orange Italian leather upholstery, GTS Classics bucket seats, RS-style door cards, a MOMO steering wheel, and a roll bar. The car derives power from an upgraded 2.2-liter flat-six engine featuring JE high-compression pistons, oil-fed Carrera chain tensioners, MSD ignition, and a 5-speed manual transaxle driving the rear wheels. A full engine rebuild was performed in 2017, and the car was listed for auction on PCARMARKET in 2020 before being purchased by the current owner. This restored and tastefully modified 911T is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York. Click here to view the previous PCARMARKET listing.
The car was completely refinished in its original Albert Blue paint color in 2014, and the exterior was modified with steel rear fender flares, an RS-style front bumper, and color-matched rear bumperettes. It features chrome trim and moldings, dual side mirrors, pop-out rear quarter windows, yellow Porsche script side stripes, and polished 15” Fuchs-style wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires from 2019. The seller indicates that the paint, glass, and trim are in excellent condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been redone with custom Signal Orange Italian leather upholstery covering the GTS Classics hardback bucket seats, RS-style door panels, and dashboard trim strip. Accessories include charcoal carpeting, a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, analog VDO gauges, dashboard rally timers, a black-painted roll bar, and 4-point racing harnesses.
Power comes from a replacement 2.2-liter flat-six engine upgraded with JE high-compression pistons, an MSD ignition module, and oil-fed Carrera chain tensioners. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed Type 901 manual transaxle. The ride height has been lowered with an upgraded Bilstein suspension. A full engine rebuild was performed in 2017 along with other maintenance items at a cost of over $16k, and the car is said to have been driven sparingly and routinely serviced ever since.
This sale will include a toolkit, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Do not miss this opportunity to own this stunning 911T that has been completely restored and serviced and ready for its next enthusiast!”

Steal, not steel flares
IMHO $75K would be a steel for this car assuming it is now fully sorted.
Beautiful car and $75k is the right value, too bad @zahntoid

Any compression testing completed recently?
@amissair That was legit funny. And accurate
That is NOT Albert Blue. That's my point. Albert is much much much darker. Unless the pics can't get the proper tone.
@Mandinga read the title. Albert Blue. lol
What type of blue is it? Its pretty.
shot of all the records at a distance doesn't really help. Car sat and wasn't run for @ 5 years. Can you scan and put up anything that was done to it in past 5 years? If nothing, just confirm. Thanks
Beautiful 911T
Does it leave any fluids on the floor when sitting for a bit?
Bid in the amount of $50,500
Bid in the amount of $50,000
what's the wet weight and whp if known?
Albert blue? Maybe Arrow blue? But Alberto has left the building.
@andking Only one set of wheels.
Thanks for the Tach info update. Can you tell me about the wheels? In prior auction they were identified as Braid RSR with slick tires and appear to have matte finish with no center caps. Dimensions were provided. Now it is stated as Fuchs style and polished finish. Is there a set of Braid wheels for this car or ...?
@andking The tac is now working and was a loose wire. Video has been added to show functional.
Bid in the amount of $45,000
Beautiful - but - That is NOT Albert Blue!
Much appreciated.
@OldSchool Car was being properly maintained in climate controlled storage, however very little mileage was put on it. Some work was done and the service records will be added to the listing today or tomorrow the latest.
@andking Should have an update on that shortly.
Thanks for the driving video - would have loved to hear the engine pulling through the gears but at least I now know it can drive in a parking lot :) Any maintnece records/work done in last 5 years or was it just sitting? thanks
Did you guys resolve why the tach is not working in the second video?
This auction’s closing has been extended to Thursday, June 26, 2025.
@OldSchool this listing should be updated with more content and an extended end date shortly. Thank you for your patience
Bid in the amount of $41,000
Thanks - again - Saw the drive video 5 years ago - have updated driving video or any receipts on work since last auction 5 years ago?
@ScoobyDone Thank you!
@Terra Yes, car was maintained in storage and properly cared for.
@zollerm 150HP
Is this the original engine? Are the tires 2020?
Only 53 miles in the last 5 years?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
Beautifully modified example of an iconic Porsche 911. Wow!!! I own 2 air-cooled Porsche 911's. I'm feeling a bit greedy, but I better let someone else enjoy this mesmerizing piece of mechanical art. Well wishes on getting what you desire.
@mchiappinelli Looks more like Oslo Blue to me.
Bid in the amount of $3,000
5 years ago highest bid on auction link provided was $68k Looks like it was put away as only @ 1k miles on OD in 5 years. Motorcar Classics is in Farmingdale NY.
Guys: are you ower or selling on consignment? Saw the drive video 5 years ago - have updated one or any receipts since last auction? Info on how car stored also please.
Agree with Mchiappinelli on color - but it is still pretty :)
This repaint doesn’t look much like Albert Blue. I suppose it could be the lighting or pictures but Albert blue is quite a bit darker than this shade. Comments from the seller appreciated. See link here for other examples. https://www.rennbow.org/porsche-colors/AlbertBlue
Horsepower? Thanks.
the link to the earlier auction does not seem to work
beauty !
appears that tach in not working???
