Available for auction is a 1968 Schwinn Sting-Ray Orange Krate 5-Speed bicycle, an iconic muscle bike that epitomizes 1960s Americana. Manufactured in August 1968, this rare survivor retains its original Kool Orange paint, chrome accents, and factory components, with the exception of a recovered vinyl banana seat. 
The bike features a 16” front wheel with a drum brake, a 20” rear wheel with a caliper brake, a springer front fork, and a rear suspension sissy bar, providing the signature "floating saddle" ride. The original 5-speed Stik-Shift, mounted on the top tube, adds to its authenticity and collectibility. Measuring 55” in length and 35” in height to the seat, this Orange Krate has been meticulously preserved in a temperature-controlled environment for the past 15 years. 
Its untouched originality and exceptional condition make it a standout addition to any vintage bicycle or classic Schwinn collection. @Hotkrate Yes, accept my offer for $3600.00 and I will have to pay a 10% buyers premium which will be $360.00 to Pcarmarket. They will charge my credit card that amount and I will pay you the $3600.00 direct in "CASH" when I pick up the bike. I can pick up the bike on Friday of this week. @GaryE_57 hi, I put those on all my frames to prevent any damage to the paint, if you would turn the wheel to far, because the springer forks always hit the frame
What is the pipe foam insulation zip tied to the frame for. Is it covering an imperfection?
