Available for auction is a beautifully restored 1968 Schwinn Lemon Peeler 5-Speed Sting-Ray bicycle, an excellent example of a Made-in-Chicago classic. This iconic muscle bike features original chrome accents and retains its rare original rear Yellow Line Slik tire.
The frame has been professionally repainted to its original Lemon Peeler finish, and the seat has been accurately recreated to match factory specs. It’s equipped with a front Atom drum brake and rear caliper brakes, both OEM components, adding to its authenticity.
A true collector’s piece, this Schwinn is a standout representation of vintage American bicycle craftsmanship. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

@LegacyGraphicDesign We will gladly pack the bike for shipping... have been doing that for years.
Look forward to you taking the deal.
@GWLW7272 thank you very much for the additional pictures. This is helpful.
Have you packaged bikes for shipping before?
I have shipped and received many bikes and packaging is critical for a good outcome. Particularly for this bike.
I use Bike Flights and would set this up, but the bike will need packaged.
What would be your ideas for packaging?
Thank you,
Mike

@GWLW7272 @GWLW7272 Please also provide image of the Schwinn head badge and close up of where the headtube, downtube and toptube meet. Thank you!
--sorry for the repeat. Not sure why I can't tag you directly

@GWLW7272 I’m interested.
I see the serial number image. Would you be able to take a few close up photos at different angles of the number? The stamp seems shallow and the paint seems to obscure it.
Would you also be able to remove the frame protector tape from the down tube and get images showing all sides that were covered by the tape?
Thank you
Mike

@LegacyGraphicDesign it's a piece of clear plastic to protect the frame when the fork is turned all the way
Hello,
There is, what appears to be tape wrapped around the downtube near the headset. What is this?
Thank you
