Through the early 1950s, the Deluxe would become Chevrolet’s sales leader, offering a balance of style and luxury along with several available body styles. Finished in red with a contrasting white top over tan upholstery, This 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe Styleline features a two-door sedan configuration along as well as a 3-speed manual transmission. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This Chevy Deluxe is characterized by a prominent front grille with horizontal chrome bars, round integrated headlights with chrome bezels, front fog lights, front vent windows, windshield & headlight visors, pronounced rear fender skirts, and extensive chrome accents. This example comes finished in a deep metallic red color with a contrasting white top. It rides on steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and Chevrolet ‘bowtie’ engraved centers and older white wall tires.
The interior offers seating for six including front and rear seat benches upholstered in tan leatherette. Matching door panels, headliner, and carpeting complete the cabin along with a body-colored dashboard and a white finished steering wheel. Equipment also includes a center-mounted basket with cup holders, roll-up windows, and a locking glovebox.
This Deluxe came factory-equipped with a 216.5ci (3548cc) inline-six engine with a cast-iron block and a Rochester 1-barrel carburetor. As much as 92 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is provided by 11” drums and the front suspension features a stabilizer bar.

@Dingbat57 The car drives great. Maintenance was done, oil changes etc. It has a new battery. The one thing I will say it needs is new gaskets on the driver door as they have worn down.
Not a V6 as stated, in-line 6.
How is the car Mechanically?, does it drive well? can you disclose if it has any mechanical issues that need attention ?
