I posted a receipt that I obtained online. This is not the receipt for my check (even though it’s essentially the same thing). This is not my photo nor is it for my check; but I wanted to give bidders an idea of their value. -Tim

A Ferrari friend informed me that my photos didn’t download. Here they are…
Now you can see what you’re bidding on. Luigi Chinetti Motors check written to Ferrari & Endorsed by Enzo Ferrari with his famed purple pen. The endorsement is authentic; this isn’t a stamp or reprint. This is a real Chinetti check sent to Enzo in the 1960’s.
Good luck.

@whizdoublea
Thank you. I previously had an Enzo autograph authenticated by PSA. It was $1500. I did not get the COA on this check for a few reasons.
1) I bought it fram an extremely reliable Ferrari collector.
2) I have seven enzo authetic autographs including one that is autheticated. I compared the signaures, ink, indentions in the paper, etc & its a perfect match. I have absolutely zero reason to believe this isn't the real deal. Its the same purple pen gauge, etc.
There have been stories about a secretary signing Ferrari's name on documents, but Enzo clearly signed this.
I paid a small fortune for this piece of memorabilia & throughly checked out Enzo's autograph before money exchanged hands.
Good day Eferrari34,
Phenomenal piece! Is there an authentication document that confirms your statement?

Welcome. And thank your for your interest in the auction. The ad didn’t specifically say that this is an authentic Enzo autograph; so let me clarify…This check was endorsed by Enzo personally with his famous purple pen.
A few of these checks have landed in collectors hands through the decades & I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to buy it.
All Ferrari fans understand the significance of Luigi & Enzo’s relationship; particularly in America.
This is one of my favorite pieces of Ferrari memorabilia in my collection.
Good luck.
