Hello to everybody and I wanted to say thank you for looking at this auction for my Ferrari tool kit.
Thanks to my wonderful assistant and her wonderful record keeping, apparently I purchased two of these sets 20 years ago, and the one that you are looking at has been in one of our walk-in vaults untouched. There was a fine layer of dust on top of it because it was stored Ferrari logo up!
The tool kit is absolutely immaculate NOS (new old stock). My best guess is that I looked at it 20 years ago when it came in and it went into the vault and was never seen or touched since then. It was on a wooden shelf, hidden behind approximately 30 bankers boxes of files.
When I say this is new old stock, I mean that every single tool still has its original factory oil on it. Please enlarge the photos and take a look, because I physically have not touched one single tool in the Ferrari case.
The blue protective cover is still on the limited edition number, and the case has zero handling wear over the last 20 years and is perfect.
We searched high and low and found the original invoice that did show that I purchased two of these sets again 20 years ago.
The dust cover, foam insert, key and rubber feet for the case are all untouched and perfect.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out either by comment or direct message. I would be more than happy to photograph anything that you need or answer any questions at any time.
Thank you again, Christopher
