    Hi Guys👋
    I cannot certify the authenticity of the sign because I have no documentation to prove it, in fact I did not mention it in the description and even less in the photos. I search online and in second-hand markets for this type of sign to then resell them, the final price is never as high as signs with authenticity documentation. I am happy to clarify this with you. Thank you all and happy auction

    My point is Pcarmarket is a pretty honest group. I had a problem with a seller after I purchased a sign, and notified them. They were upfront and helpful. We got it rectified.

    This listing looks pretty honest to me. No claim of it being original or even vintage. It even says "Porsche Style". There are many repros listed here and on that "other" website.

    I had warned people here that a Rolex clock was fake with a ridiculous story, and Pcarmarket took it down, which really impressed me. Go search it out.

    On the other hand, a guy sold a fake "vintage" Jaguar Sales and Service on the "other" site, and when I tried to tell people it was fake and why, they deleted the post. I tried again, and they deleted that too, I suspect because the seller has had many listings. Go search it out.

    Now any post I make goes through a moderator. I try to warn people, telling them why it's fake, and it's blocked.

    It gets worse. It blew up on Rennlist, and some douchebag there said the seller of the Jaguar sign had it authenticated by TAC (The Authentication Company) after the fact. Well, I'm a member of TAC and asked the owner. It had never been authenticated, and he could tell in two seconds it's a fake. https://www.matthewstac.com/

    @fashioncar , @Suprasp
    I have never claimed the authenticity of the sign. I did not specify in the description that it is an authentic sign because I cannot certify it as such, as it was purchased. In fact, the price is very low compared to a sign certified as original.

  • JT1266 1 monthago

    Bid in the amount of $350

  • medma_vintage_store (seller) 1 monthago

    @fashioncar I think you are both sellers too.
    Many untrustworthy sellers create fake accounts to discredit others. @Pcarmarket

  • fashioncar (registered bidder) 1 monthago

    @Suprasp All the signs offered by this seller are poor-quality copies, and he wants buyers to believe that they have been purchased, whereas he is a sign-maker himself.
    His signs are regularly found on other auction sites in Europe.

  • medma_vintage_store (seller) 1 monthago

    @Suprasp When I find good deals I buy them on second hand markets and online auction platforms and then resell them.
    A lot of people do it, why are you so angry with me?

  • H2Garage 1 monthago

  • Suprasp 1 monthago

    I also think @Pcarmarket should take action and start verifying what’s authentic and what’s not because this is unacceptable. You’re only hurting your own reputation instead of giving buyers confidence that they’re purchasing authentic signs, it feels more like a site like Alibaba.

    With that, I’m done with this conversation.

  • Suprasp 1 monthago

    I think this @seller should be reported to Porsche because it’s ridiculous that a label can be printed and sold as original. Even a blind person could tell it’s a reproduction.
    @Unbridled2020 @H2Garage
    The only thing left to say, and then I’ll leave it at that, is that it’s really sad to see people who never get tired of selling reproductions instead of seeking something with real history.

    Buyers should be aware that they’re bidding on a replica, not an original sign. In the U.S., you could have one made for just a few dollars.

    This seller will be reported by me.

    Have a great day.
