Quick update on some shipping items
Per Shiply, and using 9xxxx (SoCal zip code) for a quote, to ship a 48x40 banded pallet of these books, at 780lbs. So far the lowest quote I’ve received is about $630

For shipping, I am looking at the best option BUT, I would hypothesize that a banded pallet is going to be the best route.
I have weighed each box out this morning, for a total of 738.2 pounds. A standard 48x40 pallet weighs 40 pounds, so, let's say the total weight = 780 pounds (rounded up)
A freight company like ABF or the like with a lift gate would be the best option. I will do my best to gather a quote, using California as the furthest zip in the US. For international, a company like Penbroke Marine/Cartainer Oceanliner in NY/NJ would be the export port.
The winning bidder will have to assess what type of insurance they'd like.
Hope this is super helpful! This represents OVER $12,000 TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS of retail value in books, and I have set a VERY fair reserve IMHO, so, bid to win.

Some highlights, are the Ferrari Serial Number book, by Matthias Urban, and ENTIRE Forza collection, and MANY rare coachbuilder volumes
