Available for auction is an aluminum Lamborghini shield. Produced in 1978, this Lamborghini shield measures 28" x 23 1/4" x 1 1/4" and weighs 18lbs. In the early sixties, Ferruccio Lamborghini spent time with Don Eduardo Miura, a breeder for Spanish fighting bulls in Sevilla.
Ferruccio was so inspired and impressed by these animals’ power, stability, and determination, that he decided the raging bull should be his car brand's logo. Though the inspiration for Lamborghini's logo was taken from fighting bulls, it was only partial. The other half was rumored to have been inspired by the founder's zodiac sign, Taurus (bull). The engraving reads "Lamborghini Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A Sant' Agata Bolognese 1978."
Whether you're a Lamborghini aficionado or an enthusiast of vintage automobilia, this rare dealer-only Lamborghini sign would make an excellent addition to your garage or collection space. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
