This 1957 Porsche 356A Carrera Coupe replica was built by JPS Motorsports of California circa 2010 and comes finished in blue over a brown vinyl interior. It derives power from a dual-carbureted 2.3-liter Volkswagen flat-four engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox and features four-wheel disc brakes, independent suspension, an air conditioning system, power windows, a Bluetooth stereo system, and Carrera-inspired styling. Showing approximately 5k miles on the odometer, this 356A Replica was recently serviced and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.
The replica 356A Coupe bodywork is made from steel-reinforced fiberglass and is mounted to a modified 1972 Volkswagen Beetle chassis. It comes finished in blue and is adorned with Carrera-style accessories including a louvered engine cover, body-color bumpers with silver rub strips, and “Carrera” badging on the front fenders and below the rear decklid. Other details include yellow-tinted fog lamps, leather hood straps, bullet-style dual polished mirrors, and 15” wide-five steel wheels which are power-coated in dark blue and dressed in Falken Sincera SN828 tires measuring 185/65 at each corner. The seller notes one small paint chip on the nose, light cracks on the passenger fender, and some oxidation of the chrome trim. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is lined with classic grey square-weave carpeting and features adjustable brown vinyl bucket seats with a matching dash topper and door panels. A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel is situated ahead of a body-colored dashboard which houses analog VDO instrument gauges and a locking glovebox. Accessories include an air conditioning system, power windows, CocoMats floor mats, three-point seatbelts, and a Bluetooth stereo with concealed speakers integrated into the rear-mounted leather suitcase.
Power comes from an air-cooled Volkswagen 2.3-liter flat-four engine with dual Weber carburetors, 12-volt ignition, and custom exhaust and headers. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transaxle. The chassis includes independent front & rear suspension as well as disc brakes at each corner. The seller notes an oil and filter change was recently completed along with carburetor adjustments.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a gorgeous and well-built Carrera tribute. The car is light, has lots of power, very comfortable, and is extremely reliable. Lots of cool factor packed into a drivable classic.”

Hi all,
Thanks for stopping by and checking out this 356a coupe. Lots of fun packed in to this car. Very drivable car with great AC, power windows, and BT radio. The car is very quick with more than adequate power from the 2.3 VW. Transmission shifts really well and the car stops great with the 4 wheel discs. Great fun to drive!
